my recent Amsterdam Flame flowered for 58 days. it grows out tall fast so it loves 24/7 for more branching in its early weeks. it started auto-flowering 3-4 weeks old at about 15'' ,I then gave it 2 days 18/6, it stretched to 20'' right away so I gave it close flouro-flowering then and the plant stopped its stretch at about 30''

I only have 1 xtra seed, king1033, and the female autoflowered before the others showed they were a male.

Yeah I guess....from what I gather 18/6 is the way to go on these. You can go 24/7 but they seem to do fine on 18/6 and saves a bit on the cost. The ones I got from student aren't looking verywell after putting them in the waterfarm, I hope they come back.

Bspectral, I've got Amsterdam Flam seed on it's way here to Ozz, what would the L/R x A/F come out like do you think? Would it strengthen the "auto opening" gene or not?
Peace

I havent heard of any crossings of the 2 strains yet. The auto-flowering cross will probably end up flowering right in between the 2 strains opening times which are close anyway ,LR girls are the earliest openers. So it'l be a sight to remember whats the better cross-breed generation, a LR girl crossed with an Amsterdam male or a an Amsterdam girl done by a LR male, or it might not matter which way the new girls came out. I think either way the cross will be some good. The Amsterdam will give over 2 dozen budsites and the LR is known to just grow 1 or a few big colas so the X inbetween shouldn't be nothing but marvelous.\\\\\\\I have this 1 Amsterdam on the way 2 weeks now. I'l let u know what sex it is The LR is 1 week behind.

heres some pics of 2/4 of my NFT Lowryders @ 6weeks, cudnt get a camera 2 the others, they have some yellow spots on the leaves, any one suggest what it is? i also have a ph problem being that id not tested the ph in the resevoir, only adjusted the ph in my water butt with phosporic acid, which seems to leave a powdery residue in the hydros, having a negitive effect on the ph. but u live n learn.
anyone tryed making any feminised seeds with lowryder?

For Those interested in Lowryder
Well I just took 3-4 hits off my first ever grow....it was some LR and I got a pretty good buzz going on now. I have never grown so I have never cured any and after 4-5 days of sitting out drying I put in a jar and have been opening it everyday for the last few days. Still smells of cut grass and a bit harsh because I have never trimmed a bud...lol so I left too much leaf rather than not enough bud huh huh huh agree? But its not a bad high, strong head high to start now leveling out. But the best part is and always well be the fact I grew it and did not give any money to the rip off clubs. So fellow LR growers don't let the few naysayers stop you from trying it sure I'm gonna move on but this one is an easy one to start on.

For Those interested in Lowryder
Hello,
Bones - Congrats on your first toke of homegrown! Isn't it a liberating feeling, knowing you supply yourself, and no one can rip you off.
Just wait until you let those babies cure for about a month. My LR always starts out smelling super hay like, and comes out smelling like a fresh fruit salad.
Take care my man
Peace
