Wow I lost track of this thread!
Just because I was brought up where you eat what you kill, whether it be dove, pig, deer, beef, fish whatever. People can go out, eat fried chicken, and never think twice. They are dead and someone earns a paycheck by slaughtering them. And when I mean slaughter I mean slaughter, thats what the term is. Its called a slaughterhouse.
Its pretty senseless when they catch dolphins and sharks in nets, kill em and toss them overboard. Thats what should be stopped.
But whatever, I'm sure yall think that tuna comes from a can. Think about a butcher....he does this all day long....*wow* he must be a sadistic fuck killing all those animals.
Circle of life, people.
how dare you fucking question the maral issues here you idiot, i swear you sound so childish:Quote:
Don't any of those faggots have any morality or ethics? Nobody has quit because of this moral issue?
How can that man go and kill the big fish mommy!?
Why doesnt he just find a new job?
bloody idiot, i bet most of them hardly have a choice probably working under lower wage to kill those dolphins but that doesnt become so much of a bloody moral issue when the only other choice is to not afford food for his own bloody family.
Come on you got to proieper use common sense people i am sure you will see that your talking crap.
No body is arguing with where the food comes from dude. We are all aware of thise. How many times do you have to be told?Quote:

Does it matter how we kill them? Well, absolutely. The whole idea of being human is that we are smarter than any other creature on this planet, right?
Ok well in todays advanced world TIME IS MONEY. So wouldn't a SMART human know that the faster you proccess your product the more efficient the whole proccess would become?
By slicing thier main arteries and letting them bleed to death is inhumane simply because of the fact that it is not smart in any way shape or form.
"Oh the poor bastards can't afford other methods to proccess the animals..."
So you mean to tell me that they can't afford a larger blade and a chopping block to simply end the creatures life in one shot by decapitating the animal instead of slowly cutting its main arteries, letting it bleed to death and further more making it suffer, slowly?????
If time is money wouldn't you want to make sure that product is packaged and put on those shelves as fast as possible? So what are they waiting around for? Why are they watching these creatures convulse and flop around while bleeding to death until they die?????
If money is the issue, shit, get rid of a few employees and bring in some better machines. Or get rid of that truck with the big bed on the back of it that never gets used because they choose to DRAG the product to the location where they'll slice it's main arteries and continuously waste time AND MONEY...
No, I'm sorry, but logically this is EXTREMELY unacceptable from a human beings point of view. And if you are ok with thier methods and logic then you ARE a sadistic fuck.
you got my vote. but where do you draw the line on what not to bucher? I am a meat eater. im sure the pig farm down the road is just as sick. so you ask why am i giving my signature? dolfins are just so cute :p

The way they are killing those dolphins is just simply not intelligent. Not in any business sense or other wise humane sensibility fashion.
im sure the dolphins died alot quicker death from slitting their throat versus being left tangled in a net until dead, but that may of made the video look so much better to people, as they wouldnt have to see them die.
even if they decapitated them would a headless dolphin still flipping its tail make the video look any better.
My opinion? Of course not.Quote:

But we're relying on common sense to initiate some intuitive thinking here. After all, human beings are the most advanced creatures on this planet. Shouldn't we act like it?
Picture it as if you owned a dolphin fishing company. How would you operate, even under low funding?
Basically my arguement is different from most. I'm not saying don't kill the dolphins. If that is what they like to eat, by all means, they have the God given right. But on that same level you should respect that right.
Maybe they don't have to kill so many if they can properly proccess them faster...
At any rate something should be done. These people are taking dolphins right out of thier migratory routes by the THOUSANDS and pointlessly killing some of them and leaving them to rot in the ocean. They take so many at one time in thier nets that they can't proccess them all in one day. So the ones that die in the nets are left to float out into the ocean. This information was not given to you in the video. I did other research on it.
No matter which way you look at it that is not right. It's unnatural...
