Everyone loves a FREAK... the mutant thread!
my sage has the poly ploid thing going... after several weeks, she ends up have 3 and 5 blade leaves, but they're hit and miss... let me see if i got a pic...
hmm, seems i don't, however, it comes through in all of her clones, and the one bbxsage that i tested popped, and it now shows the same charachteristic! so i'm kinda excited; the pix i've seen of S.A.G.E. are single bladed, and the only thing i know about mine is it came from a bag of stuff my ex said was S.A.G.E. (but, he's a bs artist...). the smoke was very trippy and happy, even spacey... i'll snap a pic of the bbsage in a sec...

Once more, not a true freak, but pretty & interesting.
I checked on the ladies, and I saw one of the buds close to the lights is starting to show p¡nk. Looking closer about the plant, I noticed other buds were starting to throw out the occasional p¡nk hair. I certainly hope this becomes more pronouced; I love it when ladies show p¡nk! :D

I couldn't upload pics for the past few days for some reason, but anyway...
I didn't mess with the clone thing since these things work best unsupervised. So when I next checked - day 11 - I thought the root development was good enough for dirt, so in it went. In my excitement, I didn't take pics until after I had it in.
So now it sits in the back room, slowly chugging away (I hope) while I pretty much ignore it.

:D Nope. I'm a seed grower. I figure if the stick in a jar can bud, a stick in a jar with rooting gel can clone.

Here's a couple of pictures...my mutant if you will. All of my plants have grown from their center on up...this one, however, had some kind of freak leaf in the center that prevented its' growth from that spot. Now, to compensate, the plant has begun to grow out from the sides. As a result, the side growth is now higher than the center growth which stopped two nodes ago. The plant was not burned, harmed or topped, just freak genetics I guess. Any ideas? Pictures aren't too clear, sorry. Peace.

hipro, I've seen that before too.
It's a neat trait... more bushiness in less time! lol
I have wondered what causes it too.. it has to be some failure of apical dominance; that is, the propensity of the main growing tip to always remain so until cut, at which time it ceases to release the hormones that supress other potential shoot sites.
