eh-up slayer!
They are a bit sensitive to the N for the first month or so, they seem to need a fair amount of magnesium too, i've dosed em twice with epsom salts now, that's the worse part of growing a new strain for me - keying in the nutes. yours sound like they're doing great at 5 inches :greenthumb:
I'm having timer switch probs, so the flowering cycle has been a bit erratic the last couple of days :(, I might have to go and by a new one today  (i hate spending money on my growing).
the clones are still looking good - none have wilted yet, just been spraying the inside of the baggies occassionaly. I will clone and repot another two plants next week and one plant I will leave in veg until i know the clones are gonna be ok - if they're not I'll just clone again - I really wanna get the sog going.

eh-up emmpey ;)
Yeah, they are definitely sensitive allright, I use a lot of Yates' DYNAMIC LIFTER in my mix which contains composted chicken shit, blood & bone, kelp & fish bits....it's got a fair bit of N in it. They will grow thru soon & take off, nearly big enough for 1st. tipping. :greenthumb: :weedpoke: When they are big enough, I will start feeding them with MonsterBud organic hydro nutes. :greenthumb:
I know what you mean about spending on the grow m8, I try to do it as cheap as possible by re-using pots etc. I think it may be my Scottish blood, coz I'm a real tight-ass.... LOL :D But a good timer is a must-have, usually the more expensive units last a whole lot longer.
Always a good idea to take more cuttings than you need, just in case some get sick or die or whatever. That way you can just use the strongest looking plants. :greenthumb: Speaking of cuttings, remember I said that I gave some seeds to a grower m8 ?? well, he's gonna send me over a couple of cuttings of this indica strain he's been growing indoors  should have them by next weekend, they will go outside & maybe 1 will find it's way into the closet of light. LOL :D

hey slayer, i fixed the timer ting by running another extension line and moving the timer, its now on the outside of the cab - switching on the 4-way ting. they're digital ones - not a good idea to have two of em on one extension i suppose - it wont trip off when there's another drain on the line.
moved the clones a bit closer to the light now that they are used to their rootless bodies - the stems seem a bit thinner and a couple have red stems, i hope there are some roots being made down there
the ones in flower have started to stretch a bit. i made a little polystyrene wall to bounce a few lumens back in. i cant wait to see some more flowers in there man :D
Lookin' good m8 :greenthumb:
Mine are in red pots as well....LOL :)
shouldn't be long 'til you get lotsa flowers happenin'

what you were saying earlier about the clones - i'm hoping at least one per plant makes it, i took 4 clones from each so i might be ok with a 25% success rate. :) i'm hoping to have a least a couple of different smokes so a good potential mother from each until i get a puff.:stoned:
yeah, red pots totally rock man
Looks like you will end up with more cuttings than you need, which is always handy. :greenthumb:
I like a bit of variety as well m8, that's why I ordered the PP as well as the WS. maybe in the new year I'll get me a really nice HAZE :stoned:

i found a couple of roots on a clone today  12 days after cutting. some of the others definately seem to be more turgid - should see a few more hopefully
i flushed the soil on the vegging plants cos they seemed to be losing their vigour, i'll repot in a few days. the flowering ones are still stretching, i included a pic with a same aged veg for comparison. quite a few more pistles - will soon have little buds. :D
eh-up emmpey :D looking good m8 :greenthumb: good to see those clones wanna live. When I 1st. grew indoors, every1 I talked to said that a hydro system should be flushed well every week before yer nute change, otherwise there will be a build-up of nutes in the bottom of the pots. I would put about 2 or 3 buckets of water thru each pot....obviously your pots are a bit smaller so they won't need quite as much. At least 1 bucket {9 L or 2 gall.} should be enough to flush pots of the size you are using. I took a tape out to my girls today, the 2 tallest are 20cm and the other 3 are about 17cm. :greenthumb:
I love the way actively growing MJ plants track the sun across the sky, a bit like a sunflower, the top bends slightly to follow the sun....so cool
yay - another two rooted this morning :D and a few others look ready to strike too.
the flushed veggies are looking much more perky today - i think i did a couple of pots worth of water on the flush, they only gonna stay there for a few more days before going to flower. i usually flush through until the water starts looking clear. now i need to take another 12 clones - always something too do eh?
yours sound great, maybe you got 2 males and a 3 girls? i Iike trying to guess the males :).
now i have cloning keyed in I hope it's a long time before i have to start from seed again. he he.
