WHAT?
The stones far from suck. WTF!
your right the stones dont suck but there performane tonight did! as for the call there were some of the closest, hardest calls to make not even the replay made it easier but the guy with the best seat in the house the ref saw the run buy ben and he said it was in and so do i all it has to do is break the goal line and at the peak of the lunge it did. as for the pass interferance once the ball is in the air you cant touch each other. the offensive play initiate the contact with out making a play on the ball, its a close but justified call. as for the game being rehearsed, did you not see antwaan randel el take that vicious hit on the put return, rehearsed my ass. i think it was a good defensive game played buy to good teams, yeah there were to many penilties but thats the playes fault for commiting them. im sure that the PITSBERGH STEELERS dont think the game was givin to the! i heard the seahawks playes talk after the game and they didnt say that its was taking from them. GREAT GAME
Lol I smoked a fat bubbler of hash at the kick off at like 11.20 pm GMT and I fell asleep before the first quater ended :/ Good to see the Steelers won.
No doubt, if the Dolphins used Ricky Williams, the entire year, it would have been them with the ring.
Never really paid attention to American Football, but been watching recently and it aint that bad, a bit hard to understand!, what that '1st down' and all that about?
Every 1st down, you must then run 10 yards. For each time the ball is called out of play, you mark how many yards are gained or lost, and it moves to the next down.
So as follows.
1st and 10 <--You always start on 1st down with 10 yards. Say the ball is run for 3 yards.
2nd and 7 <--you are now on your second down with 7 yards to the next first down.
If you get to a 4th Down you have one more chance to meet your goal of X yards. You can punt it, try for a field goal, or try to run it as a regular play.
If you punt it, the ball will go further, if you make a field goal, you recieve three points.
BUT if you try for a 1st down, you you must make the first down of X yards or the ball will be turned over to the opposing team.
ok, well explained, thanx
I love american football for 2 reason... every play starts with 11 guys lined on both side of the ball and in less than a second it transforms from peace to war... and this happens over and over... its beautiful and it's the only team sport that has such a wide variety of players... size...speed...agility... other sports have some but what other sport has a guy that can run a 4.28 40yd a guy who can throw a 60yd spiral, and a guy who can bench press 500lbs all on the field at the same time playing the same game... it's honestly the chess of sports with different players (pieces) that can all make different plays (moves) to help there side win the game (checkmate)Quote:
