I'm sorry to have to be the one to break it to you man, but I would venture out and say that 99% of the time, this isn't true. Individually, you can't make enough noise to change anything besides your curfew hours-- understand that, to change a national law, you need millions of supporters, not just your friends from high school.
I'm asking you to look at this rationally, and take as little offense as you can:
1)You refuse to take the only criticism you get, and this from SUPPORTERS. What about the people who are actually AGAINST legalization?
2) You won't admit fault to something as trivial as plagiarism. This sort of immaturity will cause your point to be overlooked. The fact that your only 15 doesn't help.
3) Just because the paper might be a good paper for a 15 year old, that doesn't mean that it's a good paper overall.
Finally, there's this:
Do you know what makes a good activist? Someone willing to pay for what he believes in. An activist capable of change is the one willing to serve life in prison, be publicly denounced and/or be willing to put aside anything he's worked for, just so that he can support what he believes in. Honestly, are you willing to risk jail time which would consequently damage your chances at a stable job? Are you willing to put aside whatever your parents have done for you simply so you can follow something you believe in? Somehow, I don't think so. I think it's easier to sit back, write one essay and claim to be an activist-- this is fine, by all means, we need open-minded people willing to speak out, but be realistic... understand that your more likely to get drug tested for such a paper than to actually change the mind of even 1 anti-pot person, let alone the national law that plagues this country.
Be practical. Be rational.
