Wtf?
They're all pretty good. Music is such a subjective thing; some musicians are technical wizzards, some melodic, there's pretty much somebody out there to suit your tastes, no matter what they are. That's what's so good about it. And we all have variety in what we like, different chops at different times, moods, and so on. So sometimes I like to listen to Hendrix, at other times I prefer to hear Michael Hedges, or Nick Drake, etc.; all different styles. I think it's great that there's so much talent out there to listen to.

Dudes, unless I skipped something, I didn't see Ted Nugent, John McLaughlin, Keith Richards or Roy Buchanan. Shit, what about Zappa y'all -- noone riffs like zappa.
Oh well, I stopped really caring, I guess what I was just trying to point out is Steve Vai is better than Randy Rhoads, but then I decided to smoke.Quote:

Look Randy Rhoads isnt as technical as vai and satriani...but I think their showoffs just like malmsteen. I think randy's guitar work sounds better than those 3's. They just fly around the fretboard and do really flashy tricks....but I think randy had much more of a feel to it. Remember the greatest guitarist does not need to be the most technical.
