Plants look great! Last pic, plant on bottom left, make sure you check the underside of the leaves for critters.. could be my failing eyes but looks like some spotting. May be nutes but check just to make sure. Also, you are going to need clamps to connect that tubing to the lights . Duct tape does not hold up well to heat. Clamps are cheap and effective.

One more thing Newmangreen. Your temp gauge, temp isn't skewed from the sensor hanging over the hood is it? :rastasmoke:

Yes i've noticed these spots as well. There are no critters though that i'm sure of. I make a habit of checking daily for such things. I really dont know what thats from....but until the others start getting these spots i'm not going to worry too much about it.
Yeah i really need those clamps. Do you mean the metal ones that you tighten with a screwdriver? The tape tends to work well for a day or two then comes undone :(
Well i've started giving them nutes at 1/2 of recommended dose and i dont see any negative effects of that so i'll be continuing with that.
Happy smoking

hey there. Ummmm i really dont think so. I have the actual probe hanging around the top of the plants to get the most accurate temp possible and the gauge up on a shelf to get the ambient temp. Both of which are still too high :(

Sorry bout your temp issue.. can be tough to dial in for sure. And yes, the clamps you tighten with a screwdriver is what you need. only a couple bucks a set.

Yeah heat is still not as it should be. I have that exhaust fan connected to the reflectors but that small room heats up really quick now that i use both lights...just think how bad it would be if i didnt have the reflectors or vents. That has by far been the most costly of everything here...
I couldnt find those cable clamp things anywhere in this town at the right size i needed. They were all too small or way too big. Instead i bought some heavy duty zip-ties and wrapped those guys around as tight as humanly possible  Those tubes arent going anywhere :)
I also cut the lights down from 24/h to 18/6 because of this heat issue and also that i dont want to stress the plants anymore than they have been as i will start flowering not too far from now. It should save me some cash on the electric bill as well.
I dont really see any negative effects from the nutes i gave them the other day but maybe its too early to tell. I'll keep a close eye on things and if nothing bad happens i'll keep feeding them like i've been doing.
Happy Smoking,
Newman

		Hello guys and gals
OK so here's everything you missed the last week:
As i said before, i started giving them small doses of nutes....well apparently not small enough. On some of them, the bottom leaves started turning yellow and getting spots. Shortly after that the leaves would die and fall off. I quickly flushed them as soon as i noticed this. They seem to be stable at the moment and improving so thats good, and i've learned a good lesson about those nutes.
Once again i didnt plan ahead good enough and forgot to buy some things. I bought that bag of soil a while ago and never thought "Hey, after i transplant into bigger pots i'm going to need more soil." Oops :( I had enough to transplant 4 of them so thats what i did and i transplanted the biggest of the babies. I'll be getting the soil this week or at the latest monday or tuesday.
I've been seeing pre-buds forming on many of the babies :D Finally i'm seeing some progress here. I really love the big fat leaves that are there now. They must be 2 inches across:thumbsup:!! I'm going to start flowering after i finish installing the carbon filter and transplanting the other babies. I know the very small babies are not at all ready to bud but i dont really have a choice. It should be very interesting seeing such small plants produce buds.
There are some pics where you can see the damage done by the nutrients. But for the most part they look good. Some plants got hit harder than others though

Hey guys i need kind of a quick answer.
My ventilation system is quite loud....very loud. So loud that it may be worth investing in a silencer or muffler.
I need to know how good these "silencers" work.
Nordic Grow AB - Ljudd¤mpare f¶r fl¤kt 125mm
They're not that cheap so i dont want to buy it if it's not going to work all that great. If u know anything about them, lemme know ASAP how well they work so i know if i should order it or not.
Happy smoking and Thank You,
Newman Green :rasta:

		Hello fellow stoners :hippy:
Sorry i havent updated in a while, i've been very busy....or lazy....or maybe a mix of the two
Well here's what you've missed:
I started flowering about a week or so ago and i can already see some buds forming, which is fucking awesome
I havent gotten my package with the soil i need to transplant them...not so awesome. I know the girls are HATING those small pots they're in but there's nothing i can do until i get that dirt. Hopefully tomorrow, its already taking longer than any other package in the past so i dont think it will be much longer. The ones i havent transplanted look considerably smaller and weaker than the ones i have so i really wanna get the others on board.
Its starting to look like a real Field of Green in my closet now. Sometimes i'll just stand there and stare into my closet. I LOVE IT!!

Other than that things are moving forward. I've started with nutrients at 1/2 of the recommended dose to start with. The curling in the leaves was there before i started feeding them so i dont think thats it.
Check the pic to see the curling i'm talking about.

I recently started growing white widow from gh and noticed the same curling in the new growth. I think it's just a process the FATASS indica leaves need to go through to get to their final width. Could you imagine how big the tops would have to be to accomodate that fat of a leaf when it's born? Just food for thought. Lookin nice tho
