Our queens are now squared off on Main Street at high noon.

I bought a little plastic chess set so I don't hafta do this on a diagram every time. Should go quick now. (Queens shouldn't take noon UV for long. :D)

Is there a standard way to periodically confirm that boards match, or do good players just never mess that up?

good players know the board in their head dreaded. and think about 7-10 moves ahead.

Good players usually purchase a wee plastic chess set and keep a written transcript of the moves for when the dog starts poopin' wee plastic pawns.:D
