the latter one, is the next veicahal i really hope to buy, me and an old friend commited some felonys and ended up with a truck just like the latter one... it was so nice... it had 40 inch tires on it, with a 4 inch lift...350 small block... it could push trucks the same size as it, while the trcuck it was pushing was in park.... he was a dumb ass... and drove around in it... right by the owners house about 2 times a day for about a month... then one day the owner saw his truck drive by, and the owner jumped in his car, and fallowed him while dialing 911 on his cell phone...Quote:

13 seconds in is about what i want... just the older one... like 70's or late 80's
3:41 is also what i want... but make sure its at exactly 3:41 because i want whats on the truck...
ok i think we's got a parting of ways :wtf:
i don't like ridiculously big... a lift kit is ok... but nothing huge... (i'ma car guy, which means i love speed... i'm a texan which means i have a tendancy to like trucks) big tires are a plus but i'm very particular about my style when it comes to trucks... nothing huge (8 inch lift kit is pushing it, since afterall, trucks have a huge wheel well to work with)
sorta short, but still nice
ideal
pushing it but tollerable
getting ridiculous
full blown hell no
LOL!
umm getting ridiculous... is about the size i like... but bigger tires... i mean dont get me wrong... i like cars and speed... but i also like trucks and mud holes and hill climbs and rock climbs... and more mud pits... and when you finaly find the right mud pit... some girls mud wrestling... while drinking beer..Quote:

The lift kits are ok for off road, but I have a couple of questions.... how do you get them into parking garages?? or drive-throughs?? or under overpasses??
How many lateral Gs will they pull on the skidpad?? How quick do they run 0-60?? 1/4 mile time?? Top speed?? Then there is the ever popular.... how many gallons of gasoline to the mile do they burn??
And can somebody explain to me WTF is a "3/4 race cam"??
I understand about thousanths of an inch lift/how many degrees of duration/how many degrees of overlap, but WTF is "3/4 race"???
well were i live at, you dont have parking garges....i dont go threw the drive threw anyways.... and there not that big that they cant go threw a over pass.... dont know what you mean by a skid pad.... the 0-60 isnt much worse then any other 4 wheel drive truck(i mean when your on the high way, its not like your running in 4 wheel drive..)top speed is abot the same as any 4 wheel drive truck.... and gas mileage is a bit worse then a normal 4 wheel drive truck.... but it dont matter... cause the 400 SBC i had in my 2 wheeel drive half ton, didnt get anything better then 10 MPG.... so its not like im expecting a 4 wheel drive truck from the same year with a bigger motor to get any better mileage... there not built for every day drivinng anyways... they are for playing in the mud with... welll what some people do to get better gas mileage, is they have 2 sets of tires, one being the stock sized tires(normaly about 20 inch) and thier mud, or rock climbing tires, wich range from 30- all the way to some place around 53 or 54 incg tires, andthey just use the bigger tires when its time to play, and the smaller tiress when its time for them to go to thier 9-5 job...Quote:
