Biggest producer so far is Jaz or Mrs.BL, some of those colas are 10-12" down the stalk. But my northersa are FAT under all those leaves, it's hard to get a pic of it though. I'm hoping to get atleast an oz a plant.Quote:

Anyways here's a northern Fat bud pic. They only go about 6-8" down the stalk, but they are bushy fucks, with 2-3 main colas, and 4-7 seccondary colas.
HA! Bushy fucks. You crack me up. Are you drinking already? Such language! LOLOLOLOL! j/k!
tipped the bottle last night. Babe woke me up early now she's sleeping in my arms and I'm wide awake. I'm a country girls and swear worse than a trucker since I grew up in a garage. Have to change that before K starts talking, so I might as well get it out of my system now
Ahh, kids only make it worse. I started making new combinations of cusswords.
lol! now I can relate :DQuote:

OK So the last time I watered I used R/O water since the last 4 were feedings. Big no no for my ladies. Now the Mg def is back not bad, but enough to weaken the plants enough for the mites to start creeping out again. Sneaky bastards are creeping up the middle and staying away from the outer leaves so they'll be a bitch to spray. The good news is that everything else except the flower room is mite free. So I just have to make it through this harvest and clean up well. I really want to get rid off the bastards but would be happy enough to hold them at bay till I chop, in about 4-5 weeks. I just don't want a mould from all the misting, and no one knows what no pest strips are around here, they think I'm talking about sticky paper. Atleast I'm over half way there.
Invision Did you see all the pics or just the last ones?
New Question
we have a guy who is going to make an appointment to appraise the house that means going through the whole house. Oh and it's minus 30C here, and my house stinks like bud. So not only do I have to hide the plants without screwing them up, I have to hide the room, and the dryers, both stage 1 and 2 and find a place to put all of them, and take care of the smell. Do you think that the man would believe that I have a somewhat deodorized room for the cat litter, to keep the dogs from having kitty litter snacks, and keep the house from stinking? Maybe I can put the plants in the attic? The garage isn't insulated. I don't know what to do we need this appraisal done asap to efinance or mortgage and the plants keep getting stinkier. Maybe I'll start a thread asking everyone...
...dam thats a tuffy. you will def lose sleep over this lol. hope u find summin out. maybe right before he comes over hide the plants in the attic and burn a buncha food in the oven or summin haha.
You dont got a friend that can babysit your plants for a few hours??
we got it covered ;)
thanx for the help!
H said to let the cat litter build up I like the burnt food idea.
where'd you go?
baby...busy...popping in and out...e-mail chronic_chrissy at hotmail.com
i just dropped you a line...
... sorry, double post...
OK so I left all the plants in the bathroom with the window open for 15 minutes each with the temp at 26F. After that I rattled the hell out of my plant, brought them downstairs to spray them. As I was going downstairs with Jaz I dropped her tripping over the dog! She went all the way down from the very top, bouncing on her ass as she went. I'm so lucky, not a branch broken. Now everyone is back in the room safe and sound.
Then I went to check on the vegging plants. Wow what a difference transplanting made, they're taking off pretty good now, and the branches are starting to level out. The three late ones that I held off on transplanting are growing out of the bottom of the pots. So I'll transplant soon and see if they catch up to the other plants quick enough, then I can replace one or 2 not so healthy plants.
Now the exciting part. I took those cutting while the plants were in flower 12 days ago. Out of the 9 that made it though the mites 5 have roots popping out everywhere, and 2 more are just getting roots! The amazing thing is that the northerns that were taking a week longer to clone normally from veg are rooting at the same time. I also have at least one clone from every plant but one.
I have lots of pics for you guys but it takes a bit of time, so they're coming.
Northerns
chrissy try that hydro shop on regent for no pest strips happy vally gardens i think is the name..they are open late on saturday till 8 i think
Afghanis
very pretty! when is harvest?
those plants look good but u have to get rid of those mites...
9 actually. Hey do you have their cell numbers? They'll open the shop for you anytime if you have an emergency. Last time I went in the they gave me Doktor Doom because It's all they had, maybe they have more.
Looking great chrissy! Lots of trichs... Glad that Jaz was fine after that fall.

lol I know that fisher. lol I was asking if you had their cell numbers for after hour emergencies because I could give them to you if you like once H gets home with my cell. e-mail me and I'll tell you where I live. I'm sure we could find a way to help the other out, especially if you have a male in that bunch you're growing. I could make us Aurora bean by crossing you Afghan with my northerns, mine were all clones, so all females.
hey chrissy no i dont have there after hours number i dont need it since im only a short drive and i usually pick things up before hand anyway.anyway if i get a male out of my bunch which i probly will then your welcome to it but give me some seeds when it all comes to fruit....and sorry i cant take your plants for a few days till the inspection is over,i just got rid of my mites and paranoid as all hell about those fuckers i spent a long time battling them and finally scrapped everything then i got some no pest strips for extra insurance ...like i said ,,hide them in boxes that should do it
Buddy says they take 7 weeks but I think I'll watch the trichomes because everywhere else says 8-9 weeks and we are at week 5 of flower.Quote:

An absolute must for the indoor grower! For many years the Northern Lights® dominated the various Harvest Festivals. Through selective breeding we have succeeded in producing one of the most powerful plants in the world. On top of that, we have developed a pure Indica strain highly adapted for indoor growing: compact, powerful with a good yield and exceptional resin production. A most lucrative plant for the indoor grower.
Flowering: 45-50 days.
Height: 100-125 cm.
If you look at Nirvana's NL they say it's an 8-9 week strain, so it can vary from one NL to the next. I would listen to what buddy told you since he has grown it before. Not all NL strains have the same genetics... my BC Bud Depot NL seeds are supposed to flower in 6-7 weeks (we'll see on that one!).
Chrissy, I'm thinking of ordering some NL seeds. What is the stone like?
Strong, lasts a fair time, I can smoke and do stuff, it makes the high more enjoyable, but if I hit the couch with a bag of chips it takes a little to get motivated. It's honestly some of the best stuff we get around here and is considered high quality. It's fun to grow and lst, it's been responding to cloning pretty easy lately. It's also very hardy and easy to keep happy. I'm pretty impressed by the yeild I see so far. I'd say go for it all the way.
Thanks Chrissy! This is grreat info.
Glad I could help.
