Thanks guys. :) I'm hoping for giant colas, but with that many who knows what's going to happen! I also slacked off on the tying since flowering them because their not really in great pots for it. I think they'll be fine. :jointsmile:
There's a new addition to the flower cab. She's a Northern Lights plant from my 2nd grow log so I won't really talk about her here (unless I forget). I couldn't bear to throw her away and I don't have a spot outside to put her.
Wendy & Wilma: Almost 8 weeks under their belt and still no sign of the end in sight! I should start looking at trichs but there are barely any orange pistils yet so right now I have to agree with bcchronic they're the Mercedes pheno, which takes 11-12 weeks to flower. I guess my plans to smoke them on 4/20 are out the window but that's ok. :)
Oprah, Jane & Veronica are the 3 huge trained plants. Oprah has been flowering 17 days, but the others are a few days behind her. Oprah already has some trichs forming which makes her the most chronic plant of this strain at this stage in bloom. Proof positive that even someone with zero knowledge about growing any plants can learn something in a few months. :)
I'm kind of pretending I have a screen and I pruned lower foliage so hopefully I won't get as many smallish popcorn nugs. :rastasmoke:
The first 3 pics are Oprah, the veritable forest, and the last is all 3 girls. Oprah is on the right (back) and on the left are Jane and Veronica... I forget which is which to be honest! Front right is the NL girl.
One day I'll have more room and slightly better organisation so things are less haphazard with plants all over that are at different stages of flower and things like that. I'm still figuring all that out but I think I have a good plan. Sticking to it could be a problem. :D

Wendy & Wilma: Day 61
These girls are clearly not going to make the 4/20 harvest. I'm giving them another 3 weeks, making it 12 total. Mercedes went for 11-ish so I think it'll be good. Pistils are starting to turn orange and the mango smell is fading. Trichs are all clear as far as I saw a few days ago.

Yesterday was day 25 of bloom for these fine ladies here. I tried to get some macros but alas only one turned out at all. I'll try and snap some soon. The lights come on at 8pm now to combat warm summer temps. The sun is shining in my window right now and it's great, but it gets far too hot for plants.
Anyway I couldn't be happier with these girls. They have more trichs than Wendy & Wilma at this point (or is it just me saying that every time? I don't know) but more importantly they have much more BUD! :thumbsup: I think Oprah (right) alone is going to yield at least 50g and more likely closer to 80-120g. Wild speculation, don't believe any of it. ;)
Oprah has some brown spots on her leaves. I think it might be Mg def but I'm not sure on that one. She might get a shot of molasses or something next feeding. I thought this AN mother's tea would prevent these sorts of problems... I doubt it's the pH but I'll have to check the run-off to be sure I suppose.
I want to take more pics soon so check back soon for an update!

It's been just under 4 weeks since I chopped those girls down. I still don't have drying + curing down and about a week ago I found a bit of white, wispy mold starting in 2-3 of my jars. :mad: :( Luckily I caught it very early and I was able to cut off the mold, losing only 2g or so. I left the jars open overnight and after that they were fine. No more mold, the stems snap, and I think I can safely leave the jars closed indefinitely now but I still check them every couple days just to be sure.
Anyway, it smokes fantastically! It's an up, slightly head-buzzy kind of stone but perhaps that's because it needs a bit more curing. Besides that though it is great. I honestly cannot believe how much better this is than the first 2 batches. I'm still kind of surprised I can grow weed this good! It gets better with age. When I finally weigh it up (now that it's dry) I'll try to get some close-up pics of the nugs; they're awesome! :D

When I cut these up to go into the jars I lumped them all together by mistake. It's pretty clear which nugs are off what giant motherfucker Oprah, but the other 2 sort of blend together and I can only guess which plant they were off. Oh well, they're all clones and all the same batch but hopefully I can be a little more careful in the future.

Apart from the final weight I guess that is the end of this grow log... I guess I kind of let it die prematurely but what can ya do? Thanks to everyone who gave me advice, or enjoyed the pics here in this log. You all made my smoke that much better.
On to new pastures though, I've got a closet begging me to get it ready for growing, especially because I've already started! :D
Watch for a new log... it won't be as intense as this one but I've got some Mandala seeds, those Northern Lights I started will finally get to hit the big time, AND there are 2 more delicious BC bagseed plants, with possibly another on the way! Hot damn! I love BC.

Well I finally got my grow going and I got a 250w solely because I was inspired from this grow lol. I just have a question. Did you top your clones? I just want to know how you got uniform tops like that by just LSTing because I tried to do my plants like that and it didn't work. My canopy is still sorta uneven in my eyes. I wanted even buds all at the same level. Help me out :p.

Right on man. The 250W was great for the space I had! I topped my clones. I find that they barely flinch when they're young too. I basically follow justaseed's method of topping and then tying down the topped branch. You have to start young! That's the most key thing, it's nearly futile to train a stiff branch. I won't make outrageous promises, but from time to time I will try to post pics of my current grow. I'm pretty happy with it but with a larger closet I need to upgrade my light to a 400 or 600W.

nothing worth photographing, yet. I do have a new grow I started a week ago.
Also, I have a plant from a clone I did during my last grow. It's outdoors and is growing on it's side (I grow all my outdoors like that) I should post a pic in the old log of this. It probably has eight weeks left to bud, though I have no idea what strain it may be. At least it's a fem!
