Thanks for the info/pic on "topping! I may want to try this. Mate, again ur awesome so keep on delivering.
Just viewed a bunch of videos on "topping" & yes.... I will top em off. Appears to be popular for increasing the yield. So much to learn & I'm doing it on the fly.

fish emulsion is good stuff. Make sure your plants are ready for nutes first - three weeks doesn't necessarily indicate it's time to fert. Wait for the cotyledons to yellow and start to fall off, then apply fert (this is a sign that the plant has used up all of its own nutrients) Start off by using it at 1/4 strength and gradually build up the concentration, but never exceed the recommended strength on the bottle. So, grab a gallon of good water and only put in 1/4 the amount of fish emulsion recommended on the bottle to start. Feed like any other watering and you should be well on your way.
hope it helps youQuote:
Yes, 5-1-1 fish guts is good shiz fer the vegetative stage of growth. Start off with 1 tablespoon per gallon of water and water 'till it pours out the bottom of pot. You can use up to 2 tbls/gal. later on. Watch how much yer babies like it. Give 'em a dose every other watering, they will love it!
Bro:
Talking about in approx. 1 month or so....Now I'm using "Plant-Tone" & they are grooving on this~ Plant-Tone" nute is 5-2-2 (high N) & I'm giving it every other day. The "Alaska" Fish Fert is 2-2-2. If I'm incorrect please advise? The cotyledons are most definitely yellowed & are either off or falling off.

In approx. 1 month (When flowering).....Attachment 278185:rasta:
i was just giving info as you stated if it was ok for flower and just showed that its just for veg mate
Using "Plant-Tone" now...Attachment 278187
Yea if that particular brand has a 5 rating I would think so... Many varieties of Fish Fert
one is saying Beastie Bloomz 0-50-30 is good for flowering if you can get that
if you cannot get that a poster posted this
hope it helps you find a good oneQuote:
look at the packets of the plant food and look for a balance that is low in nitrogen (N) and high in Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K).
I'll check it out. methinks there are a TON of nutes out thar. Think I'm gonna keep it VERY SIMPLE being a "amateur" when it comes to this stuff. I will take on all help, encouragement but think in the end one needs to use his/her common sense & run with it.
well the food your giving now is ok but the quoted in in my post is like the other post one said about N-K-P just keep in mind on them.

Pull up mapquest. search for hydroponics. I was surprised when about 4 shops popped up around me.
Smoke:
Are we all in agreement "if it ain't broke don't fix it"? Also, I can probably grab some foxfarm trio in my area but it appears that any product will perform well as long as it meets the requirements in either veg or flower stages of development? Again, I'm so green concerning mj knowledge that its uncanny that I made it this far. Well guess not since I have the best on line instructors! Fyi, If this pans out I'm shipping all of ya some home made salsa...lmao x10.

biobizz soil biobizz grow
esteban1 wants a good flower fert but since he was using something ive not used for veg im not sure if going with bio bloom would be good
but sounds like you answered stuff for him.
plus smoke can i ask when should i really feed my white widow as ive not done her before but from logs on here im not going to follow as they seem to not look after there widows right.
i was told week 3 but searched up and was said to be week 4 as i only fed on week 4.5 on other training plants?
I answered in your thread, so we dont jack this one.
Lets see some pics to see where ur at.
hi yes ive replied sorry about that
I'm no expert, just have uncanny empirical knowledge of life....PERIOD. Two things I can say....again just from research & pure skeptical wisdom is that
a. People in general tend to have opinions on which product performs the best (& the best to that particular individual can be the difference between .00001% & 1%
b. Sellers exploit these facts & hit us all up for mondo denaro FOR SOMETIMES the same product for a LOT LESS $
AGAIN, I'M NOT AN EXPERT.... JUST A FART IN THE WIND
bio is very cheap i get 1l bottles for 5.99 unlike the other stuff that is sold
Guys.... Mayday. What's going on.... Fert Fry?
Attachment 278249Attachment 278250
as its looks like on all leaves i would say yes just let it dry for awhile then just water have you checked if and bugs ect?
No bugs... Been feeding like ever 28 hours.... Changed a bit today for I totally saturated them.... but only 2 teaspoons of nutes for all 4 plants.
i would water fert water i would not fert all the time this could be your problem your burning your plants
Whats the ph of your water? you want 6.2-6.8
Give em a good 1GAl. rinse with ph-d water.
definitely over fert'd. Dunno the P.H. No Meter nor sticks... So are you saying "Flush".... "IGA... Irrigate?
Now that I take a second look, looks to be happening to all plants.
- I remember reading you had already started a feed-water-feed routine. This isnt necessary until around your sixth node. I think all those nuted-feedings built up in your soil. Mine are still goin on the first 1/2 str I gave em back at their 2nd node.
-Also, I see discoloration in the middle of some leaves. This is a different deficiency. Probably due to wrong ph. I would look into getting a meter and either ph-up or down.
Understood...
But until tomorrow when this may be accomplished it sounds like your saying cut back on the nutes!!?? How may I hep them out until then?
Did I say that they were on a every 26-30 hour feed routine. Thought that they liked it but guess not! no reg water in between!
Ahhhh bro....
-Give a good flush of water, 1gal each. The runoff should be sorta clear. Now make a veg mix and water untilyou see runoff again.
in the future:
Plant seed > h20 > h20 > h20 > h20 > h20 > 2nd node > 1/2str feed > h20 > h20 > h20 > h20 > h20 > h20 > slight light greening > full str feed > h20 > full str feed > h20 > full str feed etc...
K:
Just flushed... Think I may have spared them a rough ending. Will adhere to the schedule. But now that they are kinda dry...no nutes..or low on them will they be cool for a couple days or whenever dry..???
Did you not re-nute?
no... Should I?
Yes, make a mix and feed until it runs out againQuote:

Cant tell ya, I dont know what that stuff is. Is it a water-mixed nute?
-What ive found online it looks like a top dressed soil nute. Id get a water-nute so you can dial in your feedings easier.
--How and how much have you usually been using?
It can mix up in water... been using approx 2-3 tablespoons in a gallon...
Think that may be too hot... ?? I may just let ir=t chill out for a day or so & then re-nute...
Ok good. Ya, that sounds like a pretty hot mix.. is there a feeding chart on the bag?
