i guess it could be a seed, but it looks a little big to me. not to mention, usually there is not just one seed to be found.
it looks like a swollen calyx. i've read somewhere that the pistils can get stuck in there a bit or something like that. leave it be for a bit and see if any pistils emerge. if not, after a bit, i would pluck it.
that's a damn good looking plant by the way!

My plant thats in a pot is not only showing this one ball on it, but now its got a pinkish hue to the buds. Seems the stalk is back to green and under the leaf stems, there green. But this red or pink color is where the sun hits it the most. I tried to take a pic but the sun was to bright to show what im seeing.

Another reason to try and do everything yourself, ''if ya want something done right, ya do it yourself'', and the guy that put em in the ground wants 60/40/ share. Hell he had to come back to get them deeper in the ground and i still get this. Plus my land, feeding and watering was all me. Hope they finish for you. That new growth does look like balls but at the same time is could be additional budding site. It is weird, keep your eye on it.

oooo, your going to love in indoors for a change. If you can get everything tuned in right (which most likely never happens for first timers) you should never have a problem. Don't get me wrong, outdoors you can grow some monsters with superb bud, but it's a little more unsafe and you can't really control the temps, storms, etc.Quote:

Hey man whats up. I see your grow gets bigger everyday. I bought my molasses at the grocery store. Shake told me it would work, just not the best kind. I gotta say, they love it. I give it to them about 2 X a week and leaves look greener and the buds are getting bigger. I give them 1 tbls per 1 gallon of water. I think the one im harvesting soon is way ahead of the one i pulled. You can see resin on the leaves. Some are so dark compared to the others and they are leaves closest to the bud. I think you can see if ya blow em up. I dont have a magnifier as of yet, but will be able to get one after last harvest. There is a really very small one down further. Basically as you start in more shade hits the plants which dictates its growth. And the last one is ready, but im letting it go as long as i can because its just so small. But il have the tray plant and three others that will need to grow at least through Sep. and im hoping my tray plant will make it to Oct. I can always put it on the deck, or bring it in the house at night. I have seven branches that could cola up and thats my biggest yielder. Its odd, you would think the plants in the ground would be bigger, but my friend, who planted them didnt get them deep enough when he planted them. By the way he wants to split it 60/40. He stuck um in the ground:wtf: I was thinking a 1/4oz would be enough, what do you guys think, i took complete control of them:D and got them to where they are. I would harvest very little and let it go as long as possible.
As far as your friend goes 60/40 is pretty unfair IMO. I am with you a 1/4 should be good for a few holes he dug. I cannot imagine his needs being greater than yours.
This is the little one i harvested. I cut up half of it into tiny pieces and put it on a plate with a heater that pointed in a direction which made the area warm. So, at about 10;00pm i was able to roll one and got as high as a house cat:D:D:rasta:

Give him 1/4 oz and he better be happy. Ridiculous...60/40...
Don't discuss it with him anymore. Make sure you harvest, dry, and cure by yourself. That way he won't see your total yield. Bag him up 1/4 oz and giv it to him when you see him. If he says anything, tell him that's his fair share. Don't let him play you.
Well guys hes saying thats what i told him. But honestly im really not that stupid. Plus he's always got it and when he picks me up some from time to time i gotta pay em to bring me out the sack. Well i harvested this plant today. It should get me by till the others are finished. I could of waited a bit longer but im broke without smoke:stoned: I will never buy it again. I have one light but its not enough, so im looking at lights now for the winter. But this was my harvest. I gotta say the shit really messed me up, the original bag of weed wasnt even close to what i grew:thumbsup::rasta:
My tops of my buds arnt really doing much lately in the growing tray. I was thinking about taking what looks finished and then leave the rest to finish. This way nothing would be shaded and i can take advantage of the weather and get the smaller buds some nice direct sun. The tops are very big and i think it would be to my advantage to let the smaller ones fatten up while i can.

Also, as i gave ferts to it a couple of days ago, how long should i wait till i can cut them off after i flush out the tray?:jointsmile:
This will leave 3 that need time to get bigger.
Plus this baby is in the open with a pissed off roommate, which in 07 she thew 2 big ones off the deck. This time i think she'd just take it. My nerves are killin me with this thing. Its fucking sweet and i dont want anything to happen to my prize. Straight water as of now, but i can taste the ferts in the last one i think. And i dont want a repeat with this one. But il tell ya, i grew it a lot better then the person before me, cuz its much better. I guess i took care of it, but why would it get better? Genetics and all i would think a little because i care for it everyday, but its much stronger then when i smoked it:rasta:
As you can see the tops i think are as good as there going to be. That is if i want any more growth under those buds. Then it will be a bit more out of site, so it wont be seen and the sun will be able to concentrate on the smaller buds that arnt getting the sun. So harvesting my bigger buds above will open up the plant so those buds can grow to the size of the buds iv harvested above them:thumbsup:
That will give me 4 1/2 plants. lol The 4 plants in the in the woods need a lot more time. Buds are getting better out there but need all the time i can get. I thought i could put paper bags over them when frost time gets close if i need to. But thats the plan:thumbsup: Iv looked for a thread on how long it takes a flush of my plant to help get rid of the fert taste, any ideas? The trichomes are more dark then the 2 i took from the woods and that shit blows me away!:stoned: Well the first one wasnt as bad as that v plant. But i guess i got the other 4 in the woods. it's hard to say with any certainty, but the plants go through the 40/60 phenomenon. the plants stretch the first 40% of the time and spend the last 60% fattening up. (from what i've noticed this is pretty accurate.)
with that being said, i would think that your buds up top would continue to swell until they are ripe for the picking. i personally wouldn't chop the buds unless the trichs show that they are ready. the plants buds start to swell because the female is trying desperately to catch some male pollen.
so beyond that it's a personal choice. worst comes to worst your can use the lower, smaller buds to make hash or something.

Let it grow and do it's natural thing. Just because the top buds are getting more light, doesn't mean that the plant isn't distributing the stuff throughout the plant. All you are doing by cutting the tops is decreasing the surface area your plant has to absorb light.Quote:

Not an echo just agree with you on 3 weeks, 2 minimum. In reality you cannot properly flush the salts that build up from heavy synthetic ferts.
use a drop of non-antibacterial soap in your water about once a month. this will help flush the salts out. if you couldn't flush salts out then you would have non-stop pH issues amongst other things.
