Anbesol's Second T5 Grow. NYC Diesel and Hypnoberry

The biggest thing I do for resin production is 3 days of complete darkness before chopping down.

This practice sends the plant into panic mode ( so to say) and just causes all the resin to come out to protect the hopefully not-existent seeds from the winter. (Note this some of what I have read about what happens and put into practice). I do notice that they are much more sticky when they come out of the closet. Another plus to this practice is no light means no photosynthesis= lesson chlorophyil = better taste. What I mean is I do notice the plant is a much lighter green when done.

Just another tip you may want to ponder.

Thanks JG. This morning when the lights popped on i grabbed the hypno and put it in 2 30 gallon rubbermades with a carbon filter in it.

Its sad that the hypnoberry seems to be a low resin producing plant...My NYCD is exploding with White Crystals everywhere!

So maybe the hypnoberry will have a berry taste. that would be cool huh.

I smoked some real real blueberry buds once they made the room smell like blueberry for around 24 hours.:D and I got high as hell.

Harvesting the HYPNOBERRY!!!

Fist 2 pics are hypno without fan leaves.
Last is the bounty. I dont know the wet weight. Im guessing the dry weight will be around a 1/2 ounce. But i could be wrong. I think it will be low though. She smells amazing. Covered in crystals. I checked the Trichs today and they have more amber then before.Good thing i harvested her. dont want any couch lock! Head high please! The main cola ended up being wider then a soda can and twice as long!!! I took a picture but somehow the picture got deleted off my phone. and now the buds are in my drying box.


I just ordered 1 gallon 8 bag set of bubble bags. so u can make hash from my plants leaves

anbesol, dude... that Hypnoberry drying on the screen looks pretty dang sweet. I've been gone too long, but it looks like I made it back just in time. That Hypno may be 2nd place to the NYCD, but looks like only by 1/100th of a second silver to me.

Dang sweet grow, my friend. I'm really happy to see you will have some kind bud sitting around your casa. I'm sure your friends will be even happier! But, you'll be happiest when you see how high your palominos become from the tip of your green thumb.

Hey Jake. My friends will never know. lol. I cant wait. I just weighted out the cola on my scale and with 12 hours of drying it weighs 33grams. so im hoping to pull an ounce out of that bud. The rest of the buds are weighing in around 2-3 grams wet! :( Im hoping the NYCD turns out to weigh more. I started growing so i didnt have to pay for it and im starting to get nervous that i wont have enough to get through the next grow. I need at least an ounce a month.

I can't wait for a smoke report! I know you have to be sitting on the edge of your seat, bouncing your knee, and twiddling your thumbs. That bud can't dry fast enough! When are you going to break down and try her out? Dude, that ounce of Hypno will treat you well - the dang name even ROCKS!

Im actually Hoping i get "hypno-tised" from it lol! I actually smoked a tiny bit of it when i was done harvesting and heated it up with a heat gun. Didnt work very well and tasted green. so im going to wait atleast 2 weeks to cure it before i give a detailed smoke report...Im really into Vaporizers so i will give that report as well as a bong report! lol. Jake, too bad Cannabis is illegal in the states, or I would invite you and Bombdiggity over for a sample!

anbesol, I wish you could invite me over for a smoke! I'd like to kick back with some of the folks on this board, but know I wouldn't say all that much around anyone! I can type a whole lot easier than I can talk - most of the time.

The Cure is not only a good band, but a dang good process. I've tried a vaporizer once, and it was pretty good, but I don't feel satisfied unless I can exhale a huge cloud of smoke, and having quit smoking a few times I think I get a bit of satisfaction off the smoke too. I need to break down and get some sort of bong, but I don't like the storage issues. Most of my smoke comes solely out of a bat. I don't think it will matter a dang bit what you smoke that Hypno and NYCD out of though!

uhg. i was bad. I decided to try a small bit of a tiny piece of bud that i accidently clipped off. It was still damp, but i tried it anyway. It doesnt have a real flavor yet seeing how it was still wet..I felt a bit like i just woke up, almost refreshed. But that could have just been the feeling of smoking good grass after smoking a bowl of schwag (uhg, desperate times cause for desperate measures).

So i was in the garden and fixing the NYCD Buds, to get more direct light and one of the buds from the base snapped and i had to clip it off in order to not let the plant try to recover from the damage. So i trimmed it up and threw it in the dry box. Im bummed that its not going to be fully flushed but, i did use Final Flush, so im sure it wont taste like chemicals but i still have a week to 2 weeks left on these

My new Frosted Illadelph bong. My friend finally paid me after 6 long months! and this is what i bought! lol. I had just smoked out of it for the first time and had just emptied the water and full chamber of ice. so its dirty looking already:wtf:

I smoked a bit of the wet NYCD. let me say, for not being fully done. and wet. Mighty Tasty!

Hypnoberry weighs in at 20.91 grams. Im unhappy with the results and was really hoping to at least get an ounce. The buds smell great. Very Fruity. I think i have may dried them a bit to much, sorta crispy, but im hoping that through the canning process they become a bit softer. Heres a pic. There is that small arm from the NYCD in there 2.

Tomorrow I am spraying my NYCD Buds with water to wash them. Tomorrow will also be the last day of light. I am giving 48 hours of darkness and then i will harvest saturday morning. The Beginning of week 10. Now soma says these go from 9-10 weeks. All of my plants have 1/8 Amber on the actual buds and 3/4 full on the leaves that grow from them. So I need to do this before it goes any farther... The Hypno after smoking it, has a heavy couch lock feel. Very goofy.

Pity about the weight but I hope and trust its killer weed.
Vape it and make it last a bit longer. ;)

Soon time for a bigger crop of NYCD so maybe not too sad, he?

We natrually expect smoke report of cured buds when ready. hehe

Yes The smoke reports will come. I do want to vape this. I need to get a connect for my new bong. Well I guess i shouldnt say much. It was T5 lamps in a one gallon pot. my NYCD are in 2 gallon. My Soon next grow is going to be in 3 gallon. And they are super cropped and FIM'd. But im still going to be using T5's i cant commit to the purchase of the other lights, due to higher electric bill.

Willy Jack's Hypnoberry Has a relaxing couch lock effect. Woke me up and cured my migraine. The smell of just the buds resmeble a light skunky/fruit loops smell. Of trying it through the bong i get a light floral taste that resembles roses and oddly Vicks VapoRub (but in a good way)(like childhood if you used it for colds). I do recomend this for small grows. Got to be around 23 inches after being veg'd to 8 inches. This grow was done in a 1 gallon pot. And I recieved 20.91 grams under 4 T5 Bulbs and 2 Lower "100 watt" CFL's. :S5:

I have 4 clones of my NYCD 2 do. After that its the White Berry Seeds. Friend gave them to me from a cola that was pollinated. Grower Claims to be his breed of White Widow x Blueberry. But there is a paradise seed strain that has this cross and the same name. so i just figure that he got these seeds and just left a male in the room by mistake LOL. But im going to give them a try.

anbesol, your smoke report sounds truly professional, my friend! It was extremely well-written and informative! I'm glad to hear the Hypno lived up to its name!

I'm looking forward to your NYCD harvest and smoke report, and know it will be equally informative. Nice that you already have a bit of insight into it, so you know it will be some killer bud.

And, you have me hooked already on the White Berry grow, dude! White Berry sounds like an incredible cross. You certainly have some kick ass strains, my friend! I don't know that you will be able to kick your friends out of your place! At least make them bring the food, eh?

anbesol, great grow buddy! I was so excited to come back to your log after being gone for a while and see jars full of bud!

I too got an unsatisfactory yield (weight wise). The fact of the matter is (unfortunately) the lights that we use just do not put out the muscle that the HPS/MH do. I know for you its the electricity bill that is stopping you, and for me its the damned heat! There is nowhere for the heat to go when you're growing in confined places.

Cool thing is though that even with the space limitations, and the lights used, we T-5'ers are still able to harvest some dank buds - and an OK amount too.

Correction: They Hypnoberry was grown in a 3 Quart pot. not 1 gallon. So i figure that 20.91 grams is fairly decent for such a small pot.

Well... because we are probably the first 2 people that i can find on the net that have done full T5 grows. heh:cool:

yeah... i couldnt find any either. See I knew going into my grow that I wouldn't harvest much. I expected under and ounce and ended up with like 1 1/2. But what I was really worried about was the potency. I was pleasently suprised that using T-5's doesn't seem to affect the potency at all. Still dankitty dank dank.

You bastard!! lol I've been growing for about a year and a half on T5 16 bulb system. I was very happy with it. Then I decided to try a 1000w air cooled hps system.

however, you had 16 bulbs dude. you might as well have had a hps. how many watts was that?

Yeah Potency is strong as hell. I just noticed that the more days i cure the weed the better it becomes. I just smoke a bit today and my face went numb. OMG
