Severly Pissed Off

I don't mind paying taxes, as long as those taxes go towards making the country a better place to live.....
But, unfortunately, the 'evidence' points to higher taxes, but lower standard of country.

gud thread... i cnt really hav a say coz am only 17 n i dnt really pay much in the way of taxes. but i know how u feel as regards b'n pissed off n feelin like everytime u get suttin gud its taken away. keep ya head up res, ya never know fings mite pick up m8... an anyway at least the cunts who run the government cant tax us on our weed!

I think that the idea of taxation isnt a bad one for a society, ie everyone sharing the costs of services that are needed, or that better the society as a whole. makes sense to me. so we should have food for the hungry...healthcare... transportation ...education... right? sure there are other things, but that covers basic human needs. our schools are under funded?!! why? Oh yeah budget cuts. Its a good thing we were able to take that money from the schools and use it on really important stuff like 40 million to advertise the newest version of paper money, oh and the undisclosed ammount the fcc is spending on HDTV????? cause we really need more less educated people with cash and HDTV.
