My interpretation of the thread starters way worked really good,,,I explained clearly and had a good result,,,so why did you not do it my way??? I just added insurance to the original method...Quote:

Now...how about letting the liquid evaporate? Then putting the residues in capsules? haha.Quote:

I understand that you mixed the water/milk in the pot, then got it to a boiling point, then stopped it? Poured some into the tall measuring glass and strained/steeped for 5 minutes. But then, did you leave the liquid in the glass on the side? And repeated until no liquid was left in the pot?
If so, I would imagine that at the end of the procedure you would add up all the liquid that the cannabis was steeped in together. Aye?
Then heat it up a little more after perhaps, and steep a last time before adding the extra ingredients and then consume, enjoy, and buzz?
I steeped then pooured that in a cup i then put another shot of fresh boiling milk in the steep glass, steeped for 5 minutes and added that to the cup... I did the steep 5 times,,, each time with new boiling milk... So the blue cup in the last pic had 5 seperate steeps in it...
I hope I did not confuse this...
i wanted to, but I had no evaporated milk and it was too late to turn my stove on (it makes noises loud enough to wake people at night)Quote:

I used the threadstarters method to help me out, but here is a quick rundown of what I did, with help from Skink and the threadstarter:
I boiled 1/3 milk, 2/3 water in a tea kettle, and when he says watch me meter, do it! I ignored that and he was right. It boiled over making a nice mess.
After that was boiled, I used an electric tea kettle that plugs in, I took a small pot, and tossed in a little chunk of butter for better results (more fat). I poured the milk/water (now boiled) in with the butter, and stirred it so it melted.
I then added the cannabis to the milk/water/butter mix in the pot. Use however much you want, but I decided to use my trimmings from the my last harvest, and that was approx. 10g's of trimmings.
I turned on the heat on Mark 3 on the stove, and I let the complete mixture simmer for about 10 minutes.
I then strained the leaf matter out. Poured the complete mixture into a cup, added a touch of honey to sweeten it, and viola!
It tasted great too. Wasn't bitter for me at all.
Overall, I'm feeling good, and I'm sure if you use buds, it would be even better, but I just wanted to use the last of trimmings for something.
Give it a try people!
