what should my temps be, bear? the reason for heat is we use a wood burner that does not heat the whole house. if it's realy cold, i turn on one of the hid's and use it for a heater for my room.... but night temps can realy get down...i'm just worried about it getting too cold...

liked the clone bucket a lot, just put together one myself. Mine is a lot smaller, used a rubbermaid container about the size of a shoe box. Holds 8 clones well and works great. 6 out of 8 are in soil now. Last 2 should be ready in a few more days.

Hey, KP. Checkin' in! Been AWOL for a while. Still reading your threads, though. Looks like you're becoming as popular as you SHOULD be. :)

as for the down time, i'm dedicating the garden to new projects, and getting ready for others. i'm going smaller scale, all and all, but with more variety... and obviously, i'm veg only right now... 'cept for the bean room...

Hey kp, I've been checking this thread every so often, but I just went back and re-read the whole thing. The episode w/ the bud box sucks, I know how it feels losing some plants. That cloner looks awesome, I like that design. I built one out of a rubbermaid box and some air stones (http://boards.cannabis.com/showthread.php?p=1052632), but I haven't got to try it yet. Any luck with the red MH bulbs?
Hey KP, IMO, it may be a little too warm, but at the same time cuttings can except warmer root temps in bubblers, but for vegging and flowering plants in DWC, the 60's are what you want. The cooler temps hold more O2 in the water for the roots. I would ride it out though because I have hurd of peple going with warmer temps for cuttings. To keep the room a little warmer, why not run the lights at night, or 24-7 for first 2 weeks of veg??

hiya bear...i use one of the 400 mh to heat my room at night, i just add it to the moms for a few hours, heats the whole place when i don't exhaust out the window...i'll see how these cuttings do, if not so hot, i'll lower those temps...
splifted... i haven't even tried the bulbs yet, i'm kinda biding my time and getting prepared. got some blueberry and trainwreck beans in production, along with some hybrids, so, i downsized the bb and tw grow to 6 clones (plus the bucket cuttings) i just germed a gbxdw, hopefully at least one more will pop... and, i'll have some suprise threads coming out in a couple/few weeks...
