I'm not dry at all. I'm just taking a break to lower my tolerance and get my ass out the door and find some work. I have a sweet 1/4 downstairs waiting for me on Friday. And yeah, I burned up that hash already. It's like crack to me man, once I start, I just want to keep going. :p

Guys, stop giving her a hard time. It sounds like she is one of the many people who actually need cannabis for medicinal reasons, sounds like (almost) everyone else is being all high and mighty, "I don't let the drug control me, how could YOU? MUHAHAHA I AM SO GREAT!". Just relax, look at what she has to deal with:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TMJ
Since cannabis helps with inflamation and various chronic pains, she'd probably feel a bit better if she could get some medicine.
Also, she suffers from these as well: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migraines
Not sure if cannabis helps with those but it sounds like it may =)
Don't be so hard on her, it sounds like she really does get a great medicinal benefit from it. Now, if someone like me is dry, I have no excuse to be complaining. I feel perfectly normal when I'm not stoned, and as far as I know, I'm healthy. So when the time comes when I bitch on the boards for not having weed, direct your anger towards me not someone who obviously needs the bud =)

okay please allow me to repost from the second page.......

look TJ, i can see where you come from and where they come from (kinda feel like the middleman)...lol
but look.. it appears to me like you use mj to help with other medical issues you have at the time....
but heres where it breaks down (the part others dont see)
medicine is made to "solve" problems, if you have these other medical issues you need to seek a cure for them....and mj is not a cure, it is just covering up the symptoms of it so that you dont have to worry about it for a while.... mj is not used for a cover up it "ENHANCES" life
its not to "just make life happy" or "good" or "better"
you should have yourself to where your happy no matter what... pot just enhances that good feeling, its not meant to "make" that good feeling or make life livable
once again im not calling you a addict, im just saying that your using pot to cover up other medical issues and if you need pot all the time for this than pot is not the answer, you should see other herbal/organic remedies that will fix the problem for good
then enjoy the gift of marijuana
hope this helps,
Ronjohn

dont you see that the bud is not a medicine or need, its just covering up a existing problem......
so please just put your links away and listen to just cause

Look, I have a relative who has unbearable backpain. He relies on powerful opiates (legal perscribed: percocets, oxycotins, etc.) just to be able to go to work and walk. If it wasn't for these drugs, his life would be more miserable then you could possibly fathom. The same applies to our kind friend in this page. If cannabis relieves her symptoms, what does it matter? She very well be dependent on cannabis but if it makes her quality of life better then when she does not smoke (i.e. if she can barely work, can't think clearly, and is always nausous) why does it matter?
Many people smoke cigarretes, yet I don't see you complaining about that. At least cannabis has many health benefits from it's smoking. Lastly, it's her choice, her god given right (whether god approves or disapproves of cannabis is not the issue here, if you believe) to do what she choses with her life. If she wants to smoke cannabis, a medicine (and a recreational drug/plant) why should we come on here and talk negatively to her? It's not like no one else here doesn't smoke more then they should...at least she uses it for more then a way to get high, at least it helps her live her life better. Shame on you for scolding her.
Lastly, you obviously don't know what medicine is for. Since you like links, take a look here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medicine
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/medicine
To me, it sounds like you don't understand medicine. I'm not trying to sound rude to you, just don't be so rude to her! It's her life, not yours. Let her do what she wishes =) Let's just say, "I hope you get weed soon." instead of telling her that she's terrible and addicted. We're all supposed to be friends, it doesn't sound like her life is spiraling out of control...if it gets to that point then we can all lecture her and bring her out of a rut...right now she's not feeling well and just wants some bud.

Yes, I realize I have medical conditions that would be nice if they could be cured.
However, like I stated before...TMJ is a condition that they really don't know how to fix. They have many things you can try, that cost a LOT of money....and they may not even work, OR they may even worsen the situation.
I have gone to dentists for it..and orthodontists, and they want me to shell out 500$ for something that MAY not even work.
TMJ is a medical mystery...not sure WHAT causes it..may be a number of things.
I even tried to get a doctors note to get health insurance to cover it, because it is a problem affecting my life. I have gone to many people to get help for it, I have tried the natural route..I have got to natropaths and chiropractors and alternative medicine clinics(in fact I used to work at one)..
...nothing seems to help, it just seems to be progessively getting worse. I am constantly trying to put pressure on my right jaw joint to get some relief from the pain, and I can't even put enough pressure on it to even TOUCH the pain.
It is excrutiating constant pain, sometimes better than others. Sometimes I can't even close my mouth all the way...sometimes I have to struggle just to get my teeth to touch.
I really wish I didn't have to deal with it,sure it's not life threatening..it's just a serious pain in the ass that seems to get in the way of everything. Nothing can be 100% enjoyable when it hurts to eat/talk/move your mouth at all.
Weed does NOT make this pain go away, weed only makes me not necassarily care about this pain as much.
..as for the migraines, I have tried many things...I take daily supplements called MigraRelief and sometimes they just happen..and they can last for days. I think they are cause due in large part from my jaw joint being in so much pain and being so tight and tender.
As for the nauseaus...I have always just had a weak stomach and just feel nauseaus....maybe it's all in my head...but weed helps.
Anyway, I might be pretty obsessed and addicted to weed...but I would feel I am for good reasons.
..I could get by without weed...it's just really nice to have it.
I wish I could get my TMJ fixed, I am almost at the point where I want to ask my grandparents for money to try and fix it, I think they would want to help.
I just want to find a doctor who really knows what hes talking about, seems most doctors don't know shit about TMJ.
*sigh*
Sorry for complaining so much....!!!!!!!!!!! I SUCK!

"No I'm not letting the drug control me.
I feel this way because weed helps me not feel this way."
hahaha replace that word with heroine and how many dope fiends have said the same thing i wonder. but seriously. i dont need shit but i like it from everything ive done i dont know how people can get addicted to a goddamn thing. like seriously cant they all just remember from smokers to crackheads just th ink hey i had a life before that wasnt bad. i mean come on if you get addicted to anything you are weak as far as im concerned but i cant speak for heroine addicts...yet.
of course i think it is everyones right to get what they want if they arent causing harm to anyone but themself.

If she uses marijuana as a medicine, then I can see where she is coming from.
All ilnesses cannot be cured, no matter what, so we use modern medicine and cannabis as a medicine to help aid us through life. I'm bi-polar, and there is no cure for a mental illness. Trust me, the therepy I went to for a good 10yrs, and yes, it did help, and I tried going off all meds. to see if I didn't need it anymore. Turns out I just went back into that mental, insane, angry state that I was in when I was put on them. I have a lack of seretonin flow in my brain, and I NEED those pres. drugs to get through my day. Without them, I'd be the guy on the freeway gunning people down.
Not all illnesses can be cured, like diabetes too for example, but there are medicines out there to aid those in need. Some people get the idea that mdedicine is suppose to cure things, it doesn't. Just like cold medicine, it doens't cure it, but it helps you get through your day.

I think you totally misunderstood my point. If you're going through some serious problems, an addiction to anything can cause those problems to get worse. I know we all like to wave the magic marijuana wand and say it's always medicinal but the truth is, it can block a lot of people to seeing, and treating, some underlying condition. Remember, though, that sadness and depression are two totally different conditions. Depression is a numbness to emotion which leads to a decrease in action, if you're sad, it may be okay that you feel sad.
I was looking out for YOU. Why? Because I care so much that I feel the need to offer my advice, to try to help you the only way I know how. Don't get mad if we don't agree, sometimes people who agree with you aren't very helpful in your life, you know?
On another note, you should have a whole buncha copies of your doctor's notes anyways, just for your own good. I like to see their little notes, you know?

You are definitely not WEAK...Addiction and alcoholism are classified as a disease in case you didn't know. It has to do with genes when it comes to most addictions.
I do, however, underestimate marijuana addition I guess...because I just don't see it around here, but on this site I see it a lot. I'm smoked a hell of a lot of weed and had my run-ins with other drugs...not addicted to really anything..but that doesn't mean others aren't.
LOL...I've done a helluva lot of yayo..but can't understand how anyone could get addicted to it..but people do.
