Quick question. I have plants that are about 2 to 3 feet tall. Can I still LST them? Any ideas to make yield better when I start to flower them?

Someone correct me if i'm wrong... Yes, you can still LST if you want. Just be VERY careful not to break them. the older they are, the harder they are to train. You should have to re-tighten all the strings a few times to get your desired bend, as it will break if you try to do it in one. I have one plant that I didnt LST the main stem-just been tying down larger fan leaves to help the new growth get light. Seems to be working pretty well thus far. How long have you been veggin?
Good Luck!
More pictures to come tonight so stay tuned (and high) :rasta:
It's been about 3 months so far, just need to run to Lowe's and buy an adapter for my timer, but if I can LST I will before the startin' the flower cycle. I also wanna maybe top one and LST, and take some clones, and start switchin' ferts for flowerin'. So much to do, busy busy...
I was smoking and got to thinking how I would LST a 3 foot plant... And I thought about this thread I saw on LST... It may help.
Wow, You are going to have a beast! LST would probably be your best option, but I dont know how much space you have to work with. If you decide to LST, I would love to see the log for it :) .
Heres the link http://boards.cannabis.com/showthrea...&highlight=LST, It explains the picture attached.
Yeah i have seen some mad pics like that. I think you can do almost anything its just being carefull. I don't have anypics but i usually keep a couple of experimant plants in my vegcab, I just abuse them and see what they can take.
Well it finally came, all 400 watts of it. Check it out, leave some love!:rasta:
and more...
. . .
I think it's too late to try that spiral method for mine (stem's at least a half inch wide), but I will keep it mind in the future.
Awww your babies are gonna LOVE that new light! Keep an eye on the temps for a while though, an HPS can cook plants faster that you can imagine.
