Who compared eating hash similar to peyote? That is something I doubt, but from what i just read eating hash seems to work for people, and almost everyone agrees that eating weed does nothing. I eat the seeds and stems, because i like the taste. I chew the stems real good and hope they do something, but i know they dont, and i have no way to tell because i am already high from smoking too..

man i remember being at a HFS festival about 6-7 years ago and the police were searching people so i wen to the nosebleed stands and swallowed all my bud... I swallowed 4 grams with some mountain dew like i was popping pills gagging the whole time and shit and 30 minutes later I was high as hell. I walked around the damn stadium four times thinkin i was going somewhere before i realized the damn thing was a circle. lol I miss my low low tolerance.
Let me take u back a couple years ago....(cool sounds and shit gets wavy) well it started like this i stuck an eigth up my ass cuz i was goin to jail for 3 months got in and was so paranoid that i would get caught i ate the whole eigth now ive always had a pretty big tolerance so i didint think it would do much but it was the highest ive ever been off weed i was so freaking paranoid lolz first time i ate bud to o yah it was in a condom so when i took it out it had no poo poo on it for u ppl about to ffreak out about that lol.
I've just eaten weed before it doesn't do much to me and it does give you that high feeling alittle but it takes like 30 min to 2 hours to kick in b/c it is digested.
thc does indeed need to be heat activated.... erowid is not the ultimate authority on everything... plus, if you go to eating FAQ on erowid, the first thru last suggestion, they all involve cooking. you may be able to absorb some thc by eating it raw, but not near as much thc as you could get from it when cooked, meaning you would have to eat MUCH more of it when raw to achieve the same effect. hence eating it raw is a waste of weed. not to mention that it is not a pleasureable experience at all :P
i suggest doing your research in non drug related arenas, such as academic journals. i learned most of what i know about the herb from my college library
