Stoned and looking for rattlesnakes
Wow, this thread has progressed nicely.
I grew up in Florida and it is definitely snake central there. My dad, used to freak the fuck out on a garter snake and chop it with the shovel into about 12 different pieces. My friend next door had a boa constrictor and it got out and went in our yard and he chopped it in half. It was 6 ft long. What an idiot. But he was deathly scared of snakes.

Wow, another Florida transplant to Cal. I can guess which state you like better ;)
That reminds me of this really long black racer that we had living in our back yard. Almost never saw it, just every now and then we'd find the skin. Except for the one time it slithered right by my girlfriend when we were in the pool:D
I saw on one of those Animal Planet shows( Croc Hunter or something like that) that the pine/palmetto ecosystem in Florida has the highest concentration of poisonous snakes, per square mile, of anywhere in the U.S. The fact that old geezer golfers, looking for their balls in the ruff, aren't dropping like flies shows how secretive these snakes really are.

I went on vacation in the Florida Everglades a few years back. I took one of those boat rides down the river. The ones with the glass bottom, it was pretty cool. You could see alligators slideing into the water as the boat approached.

Im with Rhino on the whole rattlesnake issue. I mean (no offence intended) but he obviously doesnt know just what the fuck happens when you encounter a venomous snake in the wild - so why not educate him instead of flaming him?
Love.

It's not from singing koom bay ah and eating tofu. It's from MURDER.
Humans are not the top of the food chain. Without a gun we are easy food. Grizzly, White Sharks, Wolf. Lions, Elephants, Rhino, Crocs, etc etc, all make quick food of humans. There are many things that we dont like, but that doesnt mean we have to kil them, you dumb fuck.

What did people a few thousand years do? Made bows and arrows. What do tribesmen do in the jungles? Make blowpipes and use natural poison - to hunt for animals. They didnt walk down to bloody Tesco each Friday to stock up the fridge.
Man cannot live on bread alone.

also stateing that rhino's and elephants make quick food of humans really doesn't make you look too bright because as everybody knows they are herbivores.

Today was very warm and I decided to take a short hike and see if I could find some rattlesnakes. Unfortunately, I didn't see any but I did see a nice lizard and a coyote on my walk. I took some pictures and even did a few self timed pictures of myself. Late
