Tks image reaper, correct me if i´m wrong plz, but from ur posts u dont use ANY nitrogen in flowering, can u explain why???And also as i have never tasted NL, is it the head high type that leaves u active, or in other hand is it a knock out kinda feeling that all u want to do is vegetate???once again thanks a million´, i´ve learned a lot from ur posts...tks again m8...
I stop nitrogen nutes a week before turning the light-cycle back to 12-13 hours ... I read somewhere that's the thing to do, so I do it ... of course, if I sensed a nitrogen deficiency beginning, I would treat it, but I've seldom needed to ... some of the other nutes it gets, has a 'trace' amount, anyway ...
Northern Lights is an indica/sativa hybrid, general balanced stone, I guess you would say ... powerful, pretty high THC content, for an almost neglected plant these days ... if somebody tacked a fancy name onto it, it would again be a top-sought-after strain ... :smokin:

Dont know what took me so long to order this strain looks really potent
my first order (with the optional $10 Fast shipping) did a turnaround to northern California in about 16 days, if I remember right ... the second order (a month ago) only took 8 days turnaround ... theyre a good bunch of people, Brad says they try to get orders out the same day they receive them ... I found them on some long-lost review of seed merchants , they had a 4-star rating, and a comment as to their friendliness and reliability ... I used International Money Orders from the USPS, and just left them blank ... I almost ordered the Apollo 11, too ... it sounds yummy ... :smokin:
Hey Reaper was wonduring if youd like to help with a thread in a week or two. It will be about the so called ''Secret's of Fluorescents''.LOC NAR1958 recently posted that he said his never had great results with fluorescents.But me and you have.So im goin to start a grow log with my fluorescent cab and make a journal of everything that i do to get the great results that me and you have .And just maybe we will have more newbs and people with not alot of money (not burning down there house with HIDS lol) But to give them a second choice of less expencive and way cooler lighting systems but with great results.I ask of you just to corrrect me or give advice of what not to do .Since you are the experienced grower you have way more advice than me lol.Makeing a long story short im tired of growers being scared away of fluorescents by people saying you needa get a HID. Dont get me wrong HIDS are great but not every one can afford them or afford cooling them .
So yes or no i still excpect you to follow up on the thread

BigBudDaddy, thats a great idea ... but I have to say, you have grown fatter buds than I ever have ... until now, I always had some reason that limited my growth (nosy neighbors, too many non-smoking friends popping in unexpectedly, etc...) I always wound up cutting my plants down after just a bit of bud appeared ... now, I have a legal prescription, so I can finally reap the rewards ... my plants are budding great now ... like you say, most newbies either cant or wont shell out the big bucks for the best setups, until theyve first seen some results from personal growing ... for years, I grew with only 4 flourescent bulbs, and managed to keep myself in stash ... and learned along the way what worked best, etc ... just like practicing with bagseed, its a start ... :smokin:
maybe we could do a "Budget Grow" plan for the newbies, something to get their feet wet, and limit the setup to a tight budget ... :D
here's my NL99 at Day 74, from seed ... about 2 weeks into flower ... I admit, not very impressive compared to sodiums, but Im on disability, cant afford more than I have now ... and she will smoke nice and smooth ... :smokin:

It's a 1ft wide, 2ft long cab, 2ft tall. So it isn't that big. It has a $15, 50CFM fart fan, keeps temps within check. Then, I hanged four WalMart 42watt CFL bulbs.... mylared it inside...
Nothing... I think it's pretty sweet.

Hmmmm the greatness of fluorescents .Reaper your plant is looking great .That is a fact alot of newbs will not dish out the money. I think all in all my 320wtt cab costed me like 60 bucks with fans .(Hehe i had to go a little out on my fans due to my small area 2 computer fans and a turbine fan )But yes i will start researching all the products i baught and make a list of where you can get them around local stores . Also turtle your welcome to give adivce on the thread ill be starting .This will take me a week and half to put up the thread due to my seed i just planted i want to atleast have a plant a week old to show the results of certian steps i take .(I may grow 3 plants in there just to even out my female to male ratio. i dont wanna just grow one plant and turn out male then all my time would be wasted. and everyone eles time that has been following up on the thread
