Mark my word, if ganjia were legalized tomorrow in the entire us, and a program like what nevada is doing is put in place everywhere, the entire us debt will be cleared up one full year after legalization.
It's getting closer to a huge change, we have to have something to look forward to after the last few years being a living media driven finger pointing nightmare.
Next time youre checking out a political article on yahoo, go to the discussion page for that particular article and youll see more hate than you ever thought possible spewed on the net. There are a bunch of scared, narrow minded, greedy, racist bastards that roam the earth. If hendrix marley dr. king etc. were still around they would be appalled.
Ok done with my rant, anyone got any input? By the way, glad to be here yall.
peace:rasta:
I can't understand why a southern state would be so "right-wing"

I read a recent article in The Age (Australia) about the difference between natural grow and hydro. Because of the increased number of crops and being able to hide it indoors, hydro is obviously taking over. The problem is that many growers are adding loads of chemicals to the brew and the results are starting to show. There have been several recent cases in Australia of people going into deep depression/suicide, mental instability, inability to sleep, etc. One long time weed smoker told the story of how going to hydro nearly cost him his life. He went clean for 4 months then back on to natural and he's A-okay now. With the world starting to recognize the marijuana shouldn't be the focus of law enforcement funds/activities, I hope the hydro problem doesn't cause the legalization effort a major setback.
Personally, I prefer natural. Back in my days of using a bit of E, you never knew what you were gonna get and hydro from an unknown source is a bit that way. I guess its time to get off my ass and start growing my own!

The feds allow Nevada to have casinos because those casinos remain in Nevada. The feds allow Nevada to have legalized brothels because they stay in Nevada. But legal marijuana: no way are they going to allow something that can be transported across state borders.
We have a foreign policy to discourage drug production throughout the world to the tune of billions of dollars a year in aid. Do you really think the feds are going to allow cultivation and sale within our own borders?
Just look what they did in California. California voters passed the Medical Marijuana law by an overwhelming majority. What did the feds do? Wrote every doctor in California and told them that if they wrote any prescriptions for marijuana they could loose their FEDERAL license to dispense drugs.
Arizona did not want Martin Luther King Day as a holiday. What did the feds do? Told Arizona that if they didnâ??t establish MLK Day they could kiss the Super Bowl goodbye.
New York State used to have an 18 year old drinking age. What did the feds do? They told NY to either change their law to 21 or they would forfeit all federal highway funds.
Texas used to have the highest speed limits in the US. What did the feds do? Told Texas to lower their speed limits or forfeit all federal highway funds.
Believe me I hope that I am wrong and come November you guys can raze the hell out of me for my doom and gloom predictions. But I have seen too much of this crap in the past to even dream of states rights so long as Washington, DC controls the purse strings.
predictions are nothing, blelieve it or not voters hold the key for whether or not pot is legal.
If ya can't vote there at least spread fliers on peoples car's in Nevada when you take a vacation there sometime before november 2006

Hopefully with the backing of people like Andy Anderson and other
members of law enforcement in Nevada this will pass. Voters might
come to the conclusion that their officers have better things to do
other than arrest people for smoking marijuana.
To bad he lost his job over the last vote that is one police officer
id be proud of. No wonder other members of law enforcement are
scared to speak out about drug policy changes because of fear of
losing their jobs and being ridiculed in the press.
