Damn straight women have it easier not only when it comes to this but when it comes to life in general. It is a FACT that men overall without a doubt have harder lives than women. The list can go on and on about how women have it easy compared to men. The entire weight of the world is put on a mans shoulders in his life. You can't say the same about women...

A fact my arse.Men have this crazy idea that they have to be the macho man because it's their job to take care of things and all women have to do is keep looking good.That's the only weight I could think of you meaning.

I DONT KNOW about the other women, but I DO NOT rely on my man to take care of me. My mom always told me and I will never forget, never depend on ANY 1 BUT YOUR SELF. I have been working since age 18, I am 42. I am proud of it, it makes me feel good (healthy) to work. And proud, and no guys, i dont have a 9 to 5 behind the desk job either. I also have 3 sons 23, 17 and 13, 2 of which are at home. This makes me feel good about my self and If some one wants to put me down, i say FUCK OFF!!!!

You should be proud of yourself WhiskeyGirl,your mum sounds like a wise,strong person.I have seen the mess my sister has made of her life because she feels she needs a man and I think my mother is partly to blame.I don't need a man and i'm much safer on my own anyway I think.
