Garden State was good, dunno about crying material though. I really dont actually cry, but the last movie that at least got me teary eye'd was BLOW. That scene at the end when George makes that tape for his dying dad was really moving, and made me think about my relationship with my dad.
Oh, and also Alexander got me thinkin bout my momma some. Good movie.
AVP made me cry cuz it was so shit, not what i'd hoped for at all, i used to have this debate with my m8s about who would win between alien and predator then when the film came out, we pretty much almost fell a sleep in the cinema.
what is the notebook, is it a new film, i never heard of it but judgin by what peeps are sayin it sounds good
Check this out. The Notebook is a great movie if you like the love story type movies.

I don't think that crying, or not crying, from a movie means anything, When I was a kid, I loved horror movies, but some of my friends would have nightmares, so they couldn't watch them. They had saturday matinees for kids - and often showed a few pictures for like 50 cents.
Some people, especially film experts, can sort-of deconstruct the movie and leave their emotions behind while they are watching. But, if they love film, they appreciate the feelings that the director, writer(s) and actors can evoke
I cried big-time after Mystic River - only because I wasted my money at the box office for this phony piece of gargage that most people raved about.
I used to enjoy "Mr. Cranky's" movie review web site - but haven't seen it lately.
i see your point dude, but i didnt say that crying or not crying at a film means anything, i just gets on my nerves when ppl say they don't EVER cry, and to me those kind of ppl are heartless, i cried when i was watching 9/11 on the news live, and i live in scotland so some ppl think that thats weird cuz they say it should'nt really affect me that much cuz i'm not an american, but i'm still human ya know, and it wasnt american or british ppl that died.... it was human beings full stop. why does there have to be an international divide with everything. so anyway i'm ramblin again but i'll check out that mr. cranky's site :thumbsup:Quote:
