I love tripping out listening to The Doors. There's nothing like it. I also like listening to Bright Eyes, Cancer Bats, Led Zepplin, a few "screamo" bands, Sublime ('and it went uhh, and the girl caress me down, uhhh, and that's that lovin' sound'), Nirvana, Tom Petty, stuff like that. And sometimes I'm all rap, T.I especially :p

My all-time favorite band is Boards of Canada, followed shortly by Odd Nosdam and Pink Floyd. The Beatles are up there, for sure.

Mostly I love 60's and 70's psychadelic rock, and newer psychadelic electronica. If you avoid electronica because you don't like thumpy mindless techno, Boards of Canada, man. I guarantee satisfaction while high.
