The 5000K lights is what I got... if I get some windfall cash, I will go to 3000K
The only other strain I have growing right now is Arjans Ultra Haze #1. That might make an interesting mix.

HPS puts out 2100 Kelvin

2700 Kelvin is the best you can do with CFL/tubes.

I can get 300K by the case from one of the local electrical parts houses with no problem, they might have something of a lower color temp, but $$$ is a serious problem right now. forthat matter, I can have them order me cases of whatever I want... but again, the money issue.

I'm roughly in the same boat far as the money issue goes. But at walmart, lowes, and home depot you can buy 2700 K tubes for roughly the same price, if not exactly the same price as the 5000 K, 6500 K tubes.

Are you an Ole Miss fan?

I been using 5000K "sunstick" tubes. I do need to check with the supply house to see what they got and what their prices are. I do get wholesale prices there as I am a licensed contractor.

FWIW, Hattiesburg is Southern Miss territory :D

They live in the delta, & Jackson. I'll by driving "near" Hattiesburg in a week or two. Might go to Biloxi to play some poker and have some good Vietnamese food. :D
