i don't know man, it wasn't my intention to start an argument, especially in a thread that, as daihashi points out, is ancient history.
what happened in that situation happened long ago, the point is, NO-ONE advised him not to do it, just how to 'get away with it'.
to me that is something fundamentally wrong. SOMEONE should promote a high moral stance (no pun intended, lol).
i don't know man, i'm no expert, i'm just a middle aged parent with children that i watch as they grow and that's the kind of shit they're exposed to EVERYWHERE.
some things are just wrong and, in my book at least, lying to a friend is one of them. lying is never something we should take lightly (i DO lie, to officialdom about my cannabis use as an example), and ADVISING someone to lie is something, well, i don't want to belabor the point but, to me they're the same, morally.
