G'day again all...
I'm now into the 5th week of bloom, so I thought I'd put up a few more pics for all to see.
I think it is going quite well indeed...
The funny thing is, I know what I am doing now, but I have absolutely no idea what kind of yield to expect - grin...
pic 1 - Some tops, also showing the line of the "Awesome Foursome" (Bottom right of pic)
pic 2 - The "Awesome Foursome"
pic 3 - A smaller flower, showing the mmm...
pic 4 - Showing one of the taller flowers budd sites
pic 5 - The "Twin Towers"
I hope you all enjoy the visuals, there will be more in the coming weeks...
Enjoy!
Lovely looking plant jmd, how are you managing with the winter temps so far?
And a bonsai grower? I used to buy started trees and then do my own styling on a balconey. Now I have a bit of space I am collecting yamadori (privet, elm, hawthorn and sacred bamboo).
G'day sarah louise,
I haven't a problem with the cold as yet. The only issue I'm concerned about is, "There's a difference of more than a 10 Degrees Celsius between lights on and lights off".
I'm a tad envious in relation to you growing bonsai - smile! I've yet to have a go at any, though it has been an interest for many yrs now. Hence why I am into hydroponics, as I would like to grow bonsai in a hydro environment - grin!
Enjoy what makes you smile!
Beautiful plant JMD, you sure are on top of things with this one... quick question, what type of nutrients did you use throughout, maybe I missed the post, maybe just because im stones, but thanks for the info!
G'day Diplomat,
I use approx 12-14 different types of nutrients, all from Advanced Nutrients, through both veg and bloom cycles...
I researched, at length, the different types of nutrients on the market and decided to go with Advanced Nutrients product line - User Friendly and informative.
Cheers budd...
Yeah, I've had some tip bleaching due to temp differences between day and night, it's to be expected in my case because I am still growing outside (making use of the drought).Quote:

I have the feeling hydro and bonsai may be at cross purposes, but heck, you never know unless you give it a go.
edit ~ just saw the new pics ~ looking lovely
