Fourth of July Crop
Plants are growing many little branches now. It appears that I over nourished them as there is a little nute burn on some leaf edges. The flush really seemed to do the trick.

I'll tie them back again in a couple of days to increase the number of bud sites and keep the overall canopy height manageable.

Fourth of July Crop
I tried to get a good photo of all the new "tops", but the pics didn't come out so great. There are more new branches growing than I've ever done before. It's an experiment to use LST and no cropping. The plants are staying very low and super compact. I do plan on removing the lowest branches in another week or two. Last grow I removed the bottom six nodes without any loss of buddage, probably gained bud mass by doing that. Maybe I'll try and get a better pic of one of the plants with lots of branching later on today.
Question. If I did think that I'd like to stretch these plants a little, how would I do this without slowing the growth rate?
Thanks

Fourth of July Crop
I return from Boston for 3 days and I find my 2 week old MH conversion bulb emitting a weak bluish light. Luckily I was still running my 4 foot, four lamp T5HO lamps.
I removed the MH conv. lamp and put the HPS lamp in and it's burning bright. I was thinking that the plants could use a little stretch anyway
The plants are looking wonderful though! Tomorrow I'll give them a drink and tie 'em back down. I had untied them for the weekend because the plant was actually blocking a lot of light from some of the inside branches. I will probably veg for three more weeks (total of eight weeks) before I flip 'em.

Fourth of July Crop
This morning I watered and foliar fed the plants with B1. I trimmed away a lot of the lower vegetation. I tried to LST the plants and snapped two plants right in half! Oh, NO! Well, no problems I have plenty of plants. I cut the stems, dipped in clone gel, stuck 'em in the post with the remaining plant, sprayed with water and covered with saran wrap. I will see what happens.
Anyway, here is the first preflowers on day 39 of veg.

This is the plant with the preflowers, it's starting to put out 11 fingers.

Here's a pic of the grow, before today's LST.

They look really bushy and healthy. This is such a good example of a VERY SIMPLE grow technique that WORKS! It's nice to see someone who just floats right through a grow because he is so used to it. We'll all get there someday ;)

Awe shucks, thanks Stinkyattic.
I'm a dilligent reader and have learned a lot about indoor growing right here on cannabis.com. Still a lot to learn.
As every grow takes four months or more, it would be a long time learning from our own experience without this site.
