space heater? wow, i dont need more electric stuff.
what i really need is some kinda damper and thermostat controlling the attic vents.
hmm, that sounds like a good idea, maybe this weekend.
my worry is roasting them with the HPS.
and im paranoid to burn the place down.
I'll check different scenarios this weekend.
i only hung it sunday, so, i had no chance to evaluate and i worked late every day, and was dam cold when i got home.

i think they might be gettin a lil yellow from the temp changes.
i gotta check that grow guide and see. the one does look like its fadin a lil.
not sure, but im sure i can fix it, whatever it is.
it might also be reacting to the nutes.

im using the attic as cool air input to the room, for fresh air and also to keep the temps from going too high with the HPS.
ill have all day tomorow to evaluate.

60 isnt terribly cold but it WILL slow growth down. Better get on that before they get upset. :( There's always tons of theories but I like to stay between 65-75. ;)

Space heater isn't going to burn your shit down, make your own thermostat, from a car equipped with an electric fan, or rig one up yourself. I helped my friend making a thermostat for his grow room, because here in Oregon, it can get pretty damn cold even with a insulated home at night.

So we did exactly that, when the temp. reached 68 degrees, the heater kicked on, and kicked off at 74.8. That way we didn't suck too much oxygen out of the room and didn't let too much heat build-up.

i have been paranoid of the HPS getting too hot.
its in a small space, 7x3.
i thought about the Tstat, but decided i didnt need it.
i was over compensating with cool attic air.

i think i gave the girls a lil chill at nite this past week.

MANY leaves are losing color and yellowing. at this point im not sure if they are rushing into the leaf dropping phase, or the cool night temps freaked them out a lil.

ill watch and try to make sure i dont freeze em this week.

this new spray im using, MAX FX, claims to increase sugar content and flower size. Can i assume (as i did) that in our favorite plant, increasing sugar content would be a good thing, right? (sugar=trichs?????)
I kno the flowers are growing like mad, and theyr all crystally already!:thumbsup::D
