I'm sick of the bullshit.

I am nice a nice guy but Im telling the truth as it is and expressing how I feel. If you wish to call me an asshole then go ahead. I'd rather be an asshole and not be taking advantage of then to be a really nice guy and having them walking all over me. And truthfully I am kinda getting sick of being a nice person. Sometimes I wish I was an asshole.

Some girls are great!!! Fun to talk too and being around, respectful and always helping you out with any problems that you have BUT those are the rarest girls I ever see. I run into more bitches than the kind hearted and I believe thats not cool.

NOW.... with the topic that baisez le monde posted, yes some men are assholes too. I know of many that would hurt there gf's feelings by cheating on them. Fucking them and saying bye bye while that girl is willing to be in a serious relationship. Thats what gets me so angry because the ones that are assholes get the girls and the ones that are really nice and careful end up getting rejected and feeling hurt.

I'm still sticking to my tried-and-true method of being a nice guy and having a clean conscience so I can sleep at night, even if it doesn't get me any sack action.

it's funny to me how most of the guys are saying that most girls choose assholes. like we do it on purpose LOL.

i can only speak for myself, but i've never purposefully gone after a guy who treated me like shit. but some guys are like wolves in sheep's clothing. they'll make you think he's the most perfect guy on earth and then turn around and fuck you over like it's nothing.

like what happened to me: the last guy i made the mistake of dealing with was honestly, let's just say...not very attractive and people would always be like, "why are you with him you could do better..." but i didn't care b/c i thought he was one of the good ones and i became attracted to him through his personality. little did i know that he was faking the whole nice guy act b/c he thought it would get me in bed. it didn't (i play the waiting game too!) so he ended up doing a complete 180 and turned into this asshole and talking shit about me all the time just because he didn't get what he wanted.

all i'm saying is, if half these dudes showed their true colors from the beginning, they wouldnt be getting anywhere. they do the old bait-and-switch and by that time the girl is probably already madly in love with him when he shows her what he's really like.

so because of that bad experience should i change my whole personality and become a "bad girl" so i'll never experience that again or chalk it up to another life lesson and move on, knowing that people get what they deserve in the end?

Why do men pull that whole "bait and switch?" Could it be that women rely on sex so much that they sort of drop out of the entire relationship, and think to themselves, "he only wants sex?" It's probable. You ladies say it all the time, maybe you all just started believing it? I'm not going to keep a woman around just for sex. You fall in love with a guy by what he does, either for you or general behavior (personality). I make an effort to be as sweet, caring, and nurturing, because my love deserves that. Folks, I had to do some cleanup up above. We had a post that communicated some expressions of violence, and that won't fly no matter who those expressions are directed at, men or women.

Easy on the sweeping generalizations, those of you who've made those or had those in your posts that were deleted. Anyone with sense knows that one gender or another isn't all bad or all good. Individual people come in all types. Please make sure you acknowledge that fact and avoid posting "screw all XXs/YYs" type of sentiment.

I will now let this thread proceed, although I confess I'm beginning to have reservations about doing that. Don't make me sorry I'm leaving it open.

Hello Birdgirl..thanks for cleaning up that mess...all i got to say about all of this is...I dont know...hopefully one day I will..I just want a cool, down to earth lady that I can be open and communicate about anything, one that I desire and want and one that wants to go places and do cool shit with me...
