Thanks for the thumbs up. This small sustainable garden produced 3 full harvests through out the summer & just a few days prior! Cost no more than 150$ & provided me with sustenance visa vie..... enough "Pesto" for me & my son to enjoy for days & of course the obligatory "salsa" & so much extra vegetables that I was able to give pounds of them away to neighbors & even my Fedex delivery man. Talking about "Bring'n down the cartels 1 plant at a time". Well I'm bring'n down the local produce sellers! Hope my indoor harvest will bring me this much joy?
Seriously considering the "slow harvest" technique & snip some of the mature colita's 1st & work my way down & around. If anyone has some input into this procedure please chime in. In the meantime still a couple weeks off but all appears ok? Until then here are a few macro shots with strong emphasis on the tendules (hairs). Input please!

Any advice/tips on harvesting top to bottom as the colitas mature? My question is this........ Has anyone out there in the culture experimented clipping flowers as they mature at the top then working your way down as the remaining colitas mature at a later date?
