eh up slayer - how's it hanging? one of my 8 weekers is gone now, just smoking last of bud tonight :), it was a nice puff, but i prefer the couchlock. the other is starting to get a few amber now, upto aout 10% - how long do you reckon they'll take to get 30%? i've never waited long enough before to find out - LOL :D

hey socialist pete - thanks for dropping by :) its only about two o's, about 1/4 oz per branch - i smoked lots of buds already :) got another two at seven weeks that should yield more.
i chopped a plant and put the clones in, there's 9 of em. my fone cam software ain't working since i upgraded ie. damn m$. pics will come when i fix it. had about an ounce and half left on it :o - i been smoking a lot :D they have 30% amber now. it's nice puff - i'm gonna let the other two go for 10 weeks, should have lots of amber by then... :S5:
got the pics off the cam...1st is me clones on day 1, they're 12", i wanted them in at 8" but the other plants didn't finish in time. the other pic is two plants at 53 days. they need a few more weeks.
yo m8....looking good, the clones look healthy as....my cuts aint doin so well, I got some better lights....still only 1 grow tube with a white....at least both are working....the extra heat forced me to raise the lights a bit & we've had some really hot days lately(the room they are in is north-facing & gets hot) & 5 have wilted now :( the remaining 4 are looking good tho....
NOT....:( fookin thing....got 1 more that is yet to show....the big bitch is stretching a bit now....the ends of the top branches have grown about 10" (250mm) since they turned upwards :greenthumb: total height is just under 1m (3'4") or so & about 1.2m wide....drinking about 4L a day in the heat....branches are starting to fill out all over & I seen the beginnings of some sparkly bits this morning :greenthumb: I can't w8 to make some hash :S5: here's some pics....Quote:

I got about a dry ounce left from my second plant, need to get some scales. it's now curing off, but even after a couple of days in the jar its a much improved smoke, its developing a really nice pungent aroma on it as well - a quality pong in my books. need to stretch this one out for a few weeks till my other two are done.
I take a 15 minute pause half way through a joint otherwise I end up a bit too munged out and cant do anything :upsidedow - nice man. no street puff round here does that. a pal had some at the w/e and was talking bollocks after 4 tokes - lol. I find it quite giggly and my fingers are shredded from playing the guitar. it's only 20% amber and there is a touch of couch-lock about half-an-hour after a joint - ideal for having a tea-break in front of the telly and eating a packet of jaffa cakes- :D

Only 4 clones left now, hope to get some new tubes later this week....that will perk them up a bit....I also found that the 1" blocks dried out way too quick, the cuts in the 2" blocks are looking much better than the rest....next time, I'll be taking a heap more cuts all in big blocks :greenthumb:
The big WS bitch is stretching & filling out still, I took an overhead shot of her yesterday for a different view....also start using OMGJ Tonic this week, it has lots of potassium, phosphorus, natural hormones like Triacontanol & Gibberellic Acid as well as organic micro organisms to enhance size, taste & aroma of the buds :greenthumb:It's main ingredient is a bee's wax derivative, hence the bee on the lable :D It is recommended for the last half of the flowering cycle, I start using it about a week before....e.g. for a 6 week flower cycle, I use the Monsta bud for the 1st. 2 weeks, then MB with Tonic for the next 2 weeks, then Tonic on it's own for 1 week & flush for the last week :greenthumb: Not sure if it is available in the U.K., there's a link to their site in my sig :greenthumb:

I'm really impressed by the strength & flexibility of the WS stems, I've not had any 'accidental' splits anywhere yet....that may change when the tops start piling on weight....I'll prolly split the main stem next weekend :weedpoke: I'll post pics of the ordeal ;) I think it's at about 4 weeks into flower atm, I calculate this from 1 week before I noticed the flowers :greenthumb:

Hey Slayer. the big girl's looking good m8! Yeah, the stems are flexible, I noticed that when I was LSTing and when the branches got top heavy, they could flop way down without kinking.
I bust my ph meter a while ago, and my other two in flower got a bit of burn or something :( all the fan leaves got hit and they're generally looking pissed off - lol. I flushed em and can just hope for the best, decieded not to try the split stem on this occasision cos they look too stressed. I could really have done with some of those bud boosters on those two. ;)
The clones are fully flowering now - they've been in for 9 days. I'm taking clones from the last big plant before scrogging it next week. my mothers need a prune so I'll probably take some clones off them too.
Have decieded to get a 400w HPS sorted out asap. primarily to shorten my flowering time but also to get my buds bigger - I'll flog the cfl's on ebay to try and recover some funds :D
regarding my consumption levels :) - i can comfortabaly smoke an eighth a day if i'm not doing anything - so almost an ounce a week. at the mo tho I smoke about half a week cos I'm working. I usually have about 5 j's a day. I use about 1/2 a cig mixed with equal amount of bud. although I've started using less weed as it seems to have gotten a lot stronger after a week's cure - definately more couchlock now and it smells and tastes well nice :stoned:.

well done with the clones, I have got 4 left now :( 3 will probably go over the back fence & the other 1 will go in my cab to flower :D I gotta move 'em sometime this week coz the PP is getting a bit too big for the cab (& it's pot) & I wanna take heaps of cuttings from it as well :D
A 400w is the go m8....should get at least 3 maybe 4 flower cycles from the globe before you'll need to get a newy....it's the most expensive bit of a growlight, ballasts & shades cost fuck-all to buy (& make).
We would probably comsume about the same amount, tho I tend to smoke less when I've got heaps of it in the house :D We don't smoke it with 'spin' as it called down here....I just prefer the natural taste of the weed but I know some ppl who can't smoke weed without it....I usually use a bong, don't really smoke joints or pipes very often, unless we're out & about or visiting m8's or at a concert or whatever :jointsmile:

Yo m8 :D Nice & cold over there in the old dart eh ?? :D We got another couple of 40 C+ days ahead :D The plants love it tho....the big WS bitch is drinking 6 L of food/water every 2 days....the tray fills, then within an hour all the water/nutes has been sucked up :cool: if she gets a bit wilty in between feeds, I give her a liter or 2 of straight water & within half an hour all leaves are standing up again....still filling out & LOTS more resin happening....not real smelly yet tho....the last unknown WS is now outside in a 300mm (12") pot....I wish it would hurry up & show sex :wtf:

The other two are getting chopped tomorrow. one of em is already past it I think, I took a little bud off and it was very dry - although the trichs are all cloudy wiv a few amber. i did do a flush when i suspected it was going wrong (when the fan leaves fell off :) ) but maybe too late - oh well, shit happens, at least I should get a few joints out of em - he he.
my clones are flowering on day 17 now, they're looking nice and healthy and pretty much finished stretching, they put on about 6" on top of 12" - so 50%. I'll get the scrog one in next week after taking some clones - I think clones may be the way to go wiv these CFLs - they already have much thicker branches than the LST'd plants and tighter bud spacing
hehe....ya man, can't quite see the '8' on the price tag....the MB sells for about $18/L....the Grow is about $15/L & $20/L for the Tonic....cheaper if you buy it in bulk tho, 5L of MB or Tonic is about $55 - $60....probably about 25 - 30 pounds or so....not sure of the exchange rates :wtf:Quote:

Nice and sugary looking, mate. How long do you think you'll let them go? My Bubblebum just took a full 17 weeks to finish (mostly cloudy and maybe 3% blood red trics). They looked all white and hairy like that about a month back.

:wtf: Well, I thought it may take longer but today I seen amber trich's all over the bud leaves....I tried to get a good pic of them but it was windy as usual....I got 1 where you can just make out the amber colour on the leaf in the middle of the pic.... & some more bud shots :jointsmile: I still haven't got a loupe or microscope so I'm doing it by eye....by tomorrow afternoon there should be lots more amber trich's happening :greenthumb:

great grow read it all this morning while at work, or you and empsey meant to be growing the same plant tho, gotta say his looks like a White Widow cross, whereas yours is more Northern lights or another Sativa prominant strain, good luck your buds are gonna love that sun while finishing wait for over 50% amber trichs that way youll get more of a stoney high couch lock when u smoked the green after curing.

Hi all :jointsmile: Harvest went ahead last week, it had gone over 47 days since I 1st. noticed flowers so, choppy choppy :weedpoke: Was done in 2 sessions....1st. all of the main leaf was stripped off....this makes it easier to trim & easier for autofocus on my cam....also looks better for pics....then we started on the lower branches & couldn't finish it all on Wed. nite so the top 2 branches & all of it's side branches were chopped Thurs. nite....:jointsmile: Total wet weight was 24 oz. :thumbsup: Total dry weight was just under 7.5 oz. of bud with just over 1oz. of trim leaf & small buds....I have made some hash already from the trim....not bad at all....I'm well wasted....:greenthumb: It was hung in the spare room with the cab & it dried a lil' too quick....not to worry, I've got 2oz. from the top 4 end colas curing in glass jars....I'll try not to touch them for a couple of weeks....pics are....left to right....leaf still on....during trimming....the top rack....some canna porn :wtf: ....my new pipe(I got a bigger cone for it now :D )....I'll post 5 more pics here & the rest in the 'pictures' section....

My WS clones are still going well....I have transplanted mine into a 12" 300mm pot ready for flowering later this week....The other 2 are going into a m8's hydro setup....
I pulled the she/he the other day....I didn't want it blowing a load over my PP bitch....will make some hash from it :jointsmile:
I gave some seedlings to a grower m8 several weeks ago....a WS & a PP....They both turned out to be girls !!!! good stuff....he is going to clone them (& pass them on to other growers :greenthumb: )....let them finish flowering & then re-veg them under lights ;)
