Had a look at my trichs today. Quite a mixed selection, some leaves have 50% amber where as some bits look quite clear, the majority being milky though which is good. I dont think they are quite milky enough ! Tomorrow i will start the stress ripen, freezing cold water at 7ish and the lights out for 3 days. Will harvest on the 13th (one day of the reccomended flower time). :jointsmile:
I'm harvesting the 13th aswell. I need to give you a little warning about stress ripening. It really increases your plants odour, they get proper pungent. Wear a clothes peg on your nose when entering your grow room, otherwise the smell may become so tempting you won't be able to resist cutting your plant down. :DQuote:

Do you rekon since the last nute feeding and considering there was no flush straight after shes going to have any chemicals left in the buds ? It would be a week with aboslutely nothing and 8 days of tap water ?? aahhhh
When you say Canna, do you mean PK? or just normal nutes? If just normal nutes then 8 days should be fine. The Stress Ripening is also a kind of flushing, the plant has no light, so it uses whatever food it has stored.
If the last time you fed PK was the 29th and you are cropping the 13th thats 14/15 days, which is just right for PK.

Hey man glad ya got there:thumbsup:the buds look great. I was thinking, why don't you do like 6 seeds then take 6 clones. When the seeds are done put your clones into flower, but before ya do, take clones from your clones and so on. This way while ya flower, you can veg. Then just keep this going as it would save on seeds and the clones will grow faster. Just a thought:cool:

It is silly, like the 68w on ebay are like £18 per bulb. In the us a 42w is $9.99 which is like 6 pounds ! And thats expensive over there....Quote:

Had a go at making hash yesterday....kinda flopped as too much plant material fell through my sieve and was caught in the coffee filter. Also the coffee filters broke so easily... Was left with a bit of hash mixed up with a bit of trim :wtf: o well. My bud isnt dry yet but i reckon it will be tomorrow :D

Cant agree with this more. When lit up it tastes like smoking chronic with flowers mixed in. Its hard to explain but it has such a floral taste and potency which is really nice and something i have never tasted or smelt before in any strain. The smoke is nice and thick and creamy, very pleasant:stoned:
The bud is STICKY ICKY. One spliff can actually get you pretty high compared to other stuff i smoked. Friends say its some of the best they ever had so its up there with the best ! This chronic being as good as it is partly because i think the stress ripen really did add a lot of aroma and taste and potency and i can thank phatjay and greenthumb for that.
Well basically, the weed is chronic, would highly recommend it to anyone who likes their piff! Definately going to stress ripen all my grows now, i really think it makes a big difference. hope to see some more vanilla kush grows cropping up on here :rastasmoke:

I was lucky enough to have High Times post my nicest looking VK on their website...check out this link: HIGHTIMES.COM > PIX OF THE CROP - 06.11.10 It's the one in the 5th row down on the right. =) My guess is we'll be seeing about 7 oz dry from these 4 VK plants when all is said and done.

Cool fam, this is the third time im typing this, the 2 other times i typed it, got distracted then never posted it ! Cant say ive seen a bar of hash, do u mean the really dark stuff ? nowerdays they make it with iceolator bags which is the most efficient method and gives the highest grade. Edibles are a waste of time unless you have enough trim to make the stuff otherwise id give it a miss. SMoking normal leaf wudnt be nice ! YE watched the game, ref needs to pop down to specsavers...grow wise for kush 6/7 cos it wasnt as easy as my first ones and smoke 10/10 for me anyway. Duno bout growin it again cos id like to try more stuff ! u could giv it a go though ? arjans strawberry haze is a sativa dom, apparently stretches a lot. LSD does sound like its waste of time ! and im probs jsut gna buy some cannaboost and maybe some organic products...not too sure yet mate x
I bought a 2 ounce sole of blond hash in the Sinai for $145. It was 1 inch thick and perhaps 6" long shaped like and iron with the seal of a snake burned into it. It was awesome stuff. Just awesome. I worked through it in about a week with 15 other people. That was in Dahab, 1989, before the hotels and tourist plazas. I had perhaps better blond hash in Lebanon a few years ago but that was considerably more expensive... The Bekka valley is made for growing. I miss those days. I wonder about the quality of bubble hash. I'm going to have to give it a go some day.

gratz indeed! i'm on week 6 of a vanilla kush, double blueberry and super lemon haze grow. Its my first time ever growin so i'm not surprised my kush doesn't look quite as nice as yours hehe. but glad to hear good reviews on the strain! i'll post pics in a new thread later when they're close to harvest.
