very nice man... congrats.
thanks uncle..
i am sorry bout the lack of pics and such lately..
i have been in a haze and i seem to have lost my batteries for the camera :(
time to dry out so to speak i think..:(
i WILL have some nice crystal covered pics for yall later :)
:D MG
That sounds amazing. lol I have made banana bread, peanut butter cookies, and brownies. The peanut butter cookies hide the pot taste the best so far...
hey i got a question for anyone that knows.. will 110 cfm cool a 250w HPS??
it is what i want to run for the vent in the new DIG.. its way quiet.. feel me?
I would think that a 110CFM fan should be more than enough for your needs, Mainegrown.
Great grow. I'll be lurking. :rastasmoke:
my thought is to have the 110 cfm fan extract the air in the cab out by the bulb.. cooling the light and refreshing the air in the cab.. sound like its sound?
i am hoping the heat output of the 250 HPS is gonna be way lower than the 600 i have now
unfortunately the camera's batteries are still on the run.. i am in fast pursuit but can seem to make any headway :(
gonna bite the bullet and buy some new rechargeable batteries soon
yea your fan should be good. how big is the new DIG?
Sheesh, my 600 watt pumps way more heat than my 400 watt does. I've never worked with a 250 but I'm sure it will be minimal in comparison. I haven't checked the dimensions of the cab you're planning to put these items in, but do the math on cubic feet and I think you'll find that 110 per minute might be overkill. You may find yourself getting a fan speed controller or putting the thing on a periodic timer.Quote:

i am all about the overkill..i had a 2'x4' footprint.. now i have a 2'x3' footprint.. i had like ~9000 lumens /sq ft.. not im gonna have ~5000 lumens /sq ft.. i am sure i will feel that loss but the slackening on the electric and the less heat output will be nice..
thanks for the input caregiver.. always like to hear positive things
thanks for the reply MB.. i think that this year i am gonna buy a greenhouse.. makes life real simple.. i think
hope everyone has a nice nite
Mainegrown are you a policeman? You make an awful lot of posts man, whats been happening? I've not heard from you in a while though! :)

The staggered harvest will give a nice range of "side effects".
And here's some mo' betta advice.
Now that you grok the harvest patience thing.
The difference between, "dry enough to smolder", and "cured for a month" is even more impressive.:stoned::stoned::stoned:
Trust me on dis.
Stash some in a jar and fuggedaboudit for a month or two.
Then go find a soft spot on da wall, ya?:D
Aloha nui
Wee, cured for decades, 'zard

hey shake..
i am gonna be making a grow tent after i get a job to support the cost of running that light.. and i wanna make use of the whole footprint.. maybe 5x5?? and 4ft tubes for side lighting? i wanna make a real getup :)
and 'ward..
yes i know.. i have the girls all in jars.. or drying now.. was thinking about giving one of em grape coolade but decided against it ;) got a more betta idea! leave it alone :)
and i am leaving most of it to cure as long as it can until i smoke it i guess :)
i may leave some in a jar for a week or two after i run out.. or if i get the new crob b4 it all goes up in smoke ;) ha ha im all good
have a good 'un
I have never heard of giving the curing buds kool-aid. Explain, please?
not the curing buds..when you flush.. gives 'em sugar and a purps tint ya see?
that flush with Koolade or whatever is bunk, man
you can add Vanilla or chocolate extract with flushing water. for taste.
are you using the regular koolaid packets or the plastic "ready mix" container koolaid? if you are using the packets there is no sugar in there.Quote:
