Branches will loosen a bit when I put her in flower mode. Cuz now they're as stiff as a morning wood.
I'll switch it 12/12 next week-end. I don't have time this week-end to do it.
It's more than double the size of Peachez form last year!

Dude I don't know enough about growing to say for sure whether their concerns about flowering size are going to be valid, but I do know that that's one of the sickest plants I've seen and I can tell you're willing to give it as much care is it needs! If it gets too tall or needs more light, I'm sure you'll find a way to figure out ways to fill those needs.

Well it will grow, Stretch when put to flower first couple weeks then bud up. Then the last 2 weeks or so it will put on the weight. Then look real good dry out,cure, than smoke like some flame.Quote:

I didn't think i was being harsh, just realistic. I'm certainly not going to lose sleep over anything that happens with someone else's garden.
I myself started with CFL's and then I switched to 400's so i know the difference, really 600's are the way to go.. This is why I recommend what I recommend.
You can still do well with CFL's you just should be flowering at much smaller size is all.
Monkey is a big boy, he can do whatever he wants. Just be sure to have fun with it. :thumbsup:
All you gotta do is adjust the light timer(s) which shouldn't take more than 5 min to do, you don't have 5 minutes?....

P.S. I may be doing the switch sunday, this plant is fuc$%ing huge and I finally don't have to go out of town so, anyway, sleepy head go to bed.
Plant is dead......dead serious about 12/12 schedule!
Yeah...finally had my whole week-end so, set-up is done! Took me about 1 hour.
10x 23w 2700k cfls (16000 lumens total) + 4x 42w 2700k cfls (6500lumens) For a total of 22500 lumens! 2700k cfls produce less lumens...anyway it's really bright in there, but less blindness!
Also, done a bit of LST! Took all lower branches and tied em up to the sides of the pot. I don't know if it's a good thing, since lights on the sides are farther away from the center of the plant.
So here is day 58! (1st day flowering)you really see the difference of light colors!
First pic is cfl arsenal! And i've got some spares too! Kit for veg and kit for flower!
Second and third pics are flowering setup, no LST
Fourth and Fifth pics with LST!!

Plant is shy of 2 feet tall, and about 20" across (thanks to lst) So it's like a big medecine ball!

Depends on strain Bob, some strains show quite a lot of red/purple even when they are healthy. And although it could also mean an issue everything else about it is healthy, so I wouldn't worry too much!Quote:

If you had a clamp light or work light with a clip you could get the light closer to the parts that the light is far from.:pimp:

Hey looks like your having fun! Did you take any clones off this? I read this log from end to end,,,but I have extreme ADHD so I could have been reading the very words about clones,,,then oh look shiny things..and then back to reading about what was I reading again....
And I would say yes to your growing race you mentioned on my grow log, but only if you were my next door neighbor cause not being able to sample it at the end and only being able to see it online would never be enough for me! My Purple Wrecks are going to stretch for sure but the Wonder Woman I have is the closest match to your big bushy lady... Either way love the pic updates.
How much do you think you have spent on cfl's roughly? And am I right to say you have no exhaust system other then opening your closet door? If that is true then your hybrid can seriously take heat well.. Cool cross so far..

I think it has good genetics, no molds, no pests, no insects, tolerates heat well over 90f and under 70f too, won't suffocate from being enclosed all day long. Pretty tough i'd say!

I know you said your replacing some of the lights, have you looked into getting like a large 68w CFL (300w equivalent) maybe for the sides or something. I have 2 in my setup and they put out ALOT of light.

Is that a wicking pot? I'm 99.9% sure it is, I'm just wondering if you use the wick to feed her, or if you feed from the top, how well it drains?
I don't know what wicking means but yeah, it has a slotted false bottom for drainage and a kinda tissue thing with a little pipe for bottom watering. Tried that once, not great results. Watering her from the top is the best way, running water drains down and eventually the plant drink it.Quote:
