It gets interesting when 'natural' selection meets the needs of a breeder.
You being the 'natural' part. Have a good one, WT. =D

WT, I can't wait until I get to where you are - really analyzing genetic traits to determine which candidates will most likely make good crosses, resulting in offspring which more closely meets your medical needs. Dude, good on ya! I hope your resultant crosses suit your purposes to the T.
As always, I'm interested to follow the development of all of your ladies and now gentlemen, and you already have me hooked well into the future to see how these potential crosses will grow out. Dang fine thread, my friend!
lookin nice!!!!
Sns, so you've found that some strains work better with LED than others?
Indica heavy strains, or open structured sativa heavys, like our church,(only survivor outta alot I am told, she got 5 clones taken today..LOVE her growth pattern, spread out lovely after topping, thanks for that info WH!!) seem to work best with the LEDs. That is why our yield was low on the JHxBb.
um....:stoned:
I, am, sofa, king stoned right now....that is all......:weedpoke:

Hello, I am a newbie so please excuse my ignorance. After reading your posts you convinced me to use LEDS procyon 100's. When you said that they can cover an area of 3x3 is that a total of 9 plants? So 1 procyon to 9 plants in a sq footage formation?
I spoke with the makers of this light and the wholesale price 1-20 is $460.
If you vegged for 6 weeks and then flowered under these lights do you believe that you can pull 8oz from each plant? I was thinking Northern lights or White Widow.
In your opinion how tall would these strains be after 6 weeks of vegging under procyons?
Thank you in advance.
If I understand you, you wanna get 72oz outta 3x3? No way in hell man...Now 8oz in 3x3 area is more realistic...Vegging for 6 weeks? Sounds like you are going big plant setup...If so, you should only have one plant in that 3x3 area...

Hi,
Thanks for the info. I want to yield atleast 8oz pr plant. How big should the plant be and how long do I need to vegg for this size in your opinion? I also plan to use hydro and not soil. I thought one plant per sq. ft would be the right set up for that yield. So should I change the size to 3x3 instead of 1x1 per plant?
8oz per plant=HUGE plant...start a thread, and some hydro people will come answer your questions..I dont know shit about hydro...

IF YOU HAVE NEVER GROWN READ TILL YOU THINK YOU HAVE ENOUGH KNOWLEDGE THEN READ FOR TWO MORE WEEKS... THEN COME BACK W/ ANY QUESTIONS... THAT'S JUST IMHO YOUR TWO DAYS ON THE SITE LOOKING FOR 8OZ PLANTS!!! GOOD LUCK GL1 Sorry For the Jack SnS WT GLQuote:

I had people telling me that you can get 1lbs per plant if it is 5ft tall. I couldn't find any data online to back that claim up. Most growers are growing in small areas with plants less then 4 ft. So I am searching for info on plants that reach maybe 6 ft before they are harvested.
Now it seems that LEDs have reached a point where they can be used successfully. It was proven here. And that helps the situation for heat signatures as well as electric bills. I just need more info on yields with bigger plants. So far I have not come across anyone with this info that I really need.
If you are going to use LED and you want 8 oz per plant you had better be prepared to veg a long time and grow a high yield variety. Also use fogging or aeroponics and CO2. Try a veg time of 6 months to start and see how that goes.

Do you have the equipment Ready to GO?
Iscandar You need to start a THREAD but since we are jacking SnS's Thread already... You will not find info on people getting 1lb off a single plant under a LED because it did not happen yet to my knowledge... Anyway I never heard of people getting 1Lb off a single plant unless it is Outdoors... Indoors in W/F's mostly home made jobs I've heard of people getting 14-15 Oz Max... What you are asking for is basically impossible IMO w/ LED or HPS... You need to really rethink what goals you have... What are you looking for 1.)energy savings 2.) Yield 3.) limited Amounts of Plants ect...
If you do not have the equipment we are discussing Tall Tale Gardening...
Figure out what your Goals are and put it all in a THREAD and we will try to help you acheive what is possible and in reason...
Good Luck GL420:jointsmile::jointsmile::jointsmile:
Sorry for Jacking your Shit SnS's ;););)
WT 420GL1:jointsmile::jointsmile::jointsmile:
no prob on the jack...Iscandar, start your own thread man...your not grasping this idea it seems...you wont get 8 oz a plant in a 1 plant per ft sq...EVER....impossible...you will need about 4x4 for a single plant to yield that much...please keep all questions NOT related to this thread...out of this thread...

here are the weeeee clones I took. The tall ones are the Church, the ones to the left are the 3 SB clones, and the rest are the HKxBI clones...love that plant...lol I know they are tiny before I get yelled at, but it was wither take small clones, or none...I choose small. They look a lil droopy, but 3 days in the dome, look normal to me. A lil birdie told me the stork is flying by, so some AK clones will be in this dome in a few days:D :giggity:

Db came through with some cat piss last night...mmmm I highly recommend getting some if you guys ever get a chance...Too bad the other grower wont come off any clones or beans..Stingy fuck.... lol...Even offered to pay for em, trade for em...He doesn't want anyone else getting them, thats how strains get lost...AAA anyone?
Didnt wanna chop them too bad...too small still, and wanted to have SOME harvest...lol
First pic is church
Second 2 are the HKxBI's
Last 2 SB's
They look quite happy to me..glad that shit was over

They're looking nice. Are you worried about those lower fan leaves at all?
sorry about the jacking
Hey WT those ladies are looking nice- tell them I think their new pots are very stylish and practical! ;)
thanks foxy!...Ill pass the message...
Sunny, those are the leaves that were damaged from our earlier issues...They didn't come back all the way, but weren't dead enough to pull em..
whiskeytango
Roger that, stayin' strong!
Lookin pretty good. Wise choice not pulling half yellow leaves off. I think people like to pretty up their plants for the photo sessions, but they would be much better off leaving leaves on that still have some green in them. So what if your cuttings are small. They don't need to be big. They only need to be big enough so that there is enough foliage for them to eat while they are getting roots. If everything turns yellow before there are some good roots, then they are too small to start. Otherwise, not. I've rooted many cuttings the size you show.
sweet!!! thanks opie..I was hoping you would take a look at em for me..I feel better now.

Nice work on this grow.
It has been along time since I checked in on your endevor and I must say they are looking much better than the last time I checked:) Some seem to have the nice deep green that I like to see.
What was the problem you were having earlier on with heath issues? Over nuteing or water?
I haven't read back in your log due its length but how far along are they?
JG
lookin pretty wt... god i love these friggin LEDs
Spiggs
JG, how goes it? They have been flowering for 10 days I believe. Think the issues where Ph related...Dropped the Ph, added some cal-mag, and the girls popped right back...left the half yellow leaves on, plants still using em I guess.
