Heh, colors. funny sheet.
Everyone sees colors in their own specific way. Red is red, but the exact shade of that red is sometimes different from person to person.
People (excepting colorblind folks) tend to be able to recognize the same color, but when it comes to fine lines, they blur. That's why in my business, we get a person to physically look at a print, brochure, whatever, and they sign that same sheet, basically then all we have to do is make every sheet look exactly like that one and we're golden.
Funny fact: maybe a third of these people are stoned/drunk.
what the hell was this thread about again?

Thats what i think... there is no way to knowing how another people's mind percieves the world. Of course when we are children we learn that that color is called "red". But nothing ensures that if you would enter into my mind, the color i call "red" you would call "green" or vice-versa, as Gandalf said.
But this is not a wild thought in the mist of night.. First we don't see color as color. we see reflected and transmitted light wave by the rods and cones that convert into electrical signals that are sent to the brain which then has to organize and rationalize those signals. The rod and cone cells in the eyes are different in each human Bean .. and each produce unique electrical patterns that are passed on the the brain. The electrical patterns produced in my eye is different that the signal produced by your eye..
So I am born and I see and a Blue square is produced in front of my new eyes. I at that point see a Color but I have no idea what that color is. If due to my rod/cone construction I see The Blue as a Purple I can't call it that because no one has taught me what either purple and blue are. My Brain has yet to have the information to make such concepts understandable.
So along comes Mom and Pops.. They Sit in the corner and show me the Blue square and tell me That Is Blue. Because each of their families Taught them that it was blue. And now when I see a fellow in a blue T shirt My Brain kicks in and says yup..thats Blue.. But due to the variation in the rod and cone construction in the brain its unlikely that anyone taken at random actually has the waves of light, converted by the optic nerve into the brain and neuron patterns, produce the same patterns.
Thens theres the concept that the square is not Blue in the first place.. It only reflects that portion of the light spectrum so a Blue square is actually all colors but Blue...

Well... then i think you are saying the same thing that me and Gandalf... The patterns which appears in my brain when i see red may not be the same that appears in your brain when you see red, so if i could enter into your brain, i would interpret this patterns as being another color than red.

Im sorry, but its just the opposite. If a square is called "blue", its because it absorbs all colors and reflects only the blue. We only see a thing when it reflects light, and the reflected light reach our eyes. So, if we see the blue color, its because its the only that could reach our eyes. All the other ones were absorved by the square.
Unless, of coure, that youre saying that the "real" color of an object is the colors that it absorbes... in this case, i must agree with you, that the "real" color of a blue square is all colors but blue.

There you go.. It can't be Blue as thats the wave length it rejects so its all colors But Blue and Infra Red, Ultra violet and maybe even Higher or Lower variations. As while we can't perceive additional colors it may very well be a rainbow...

I'm not being a dick, but the vast majority of blonds i know, know nothing about life or the world. I know it's not every single blond, obviously, but in my own experience, blonds aint all that smart.
Your the exception! Your very smart!

Damn straight I am haha. My grades have always been A's and B's. But then again I work my ass off.
I just think that the ratio of stupidity is about the same whether the person is blonde, brunette or other.

Usually your posts and thoughts are very interesting...
But what a stupid thing to say that the level of inteligence in a blond is going to be lower than that of someone with another hair color.
This idea was originally created by a bunch of jealous women 'cause blonds tend to be more attractive from a male point of view.
Someones intelligence doesn't depend on there hair color at all!!
And when it comes down to it; What defines intelligence?
Intellect, creativeness, how you think... or how much you know about the world?
The reason I'm being so defensive of blonds is because it think to say there level of intelligence is lower is stupid and also cause my mother is blond.

Right - Now, if you stop blasting on, go back and READ my post.
I DIDNT say anything like that. I didnt say blonds are less intelligent, did i? NO.
Now, what you'll SEE is me saying from personal experience, the blonds I KNOW arn't all that smart.
I said at the end even, i know it's not ALL blonds.
I cant fucking STAND people putting words in my mouth, so NEVER do it again. Thankyou.

It is you're the exception and you're very smart. Your is the possesive pronoun and you're is the contraction for you are so I find that post dripping with irony and you are stereotyping blondes.

Actually Intelligence Is not how Much you know but How You Know it.
A good memory for gained knowledge is a good way to know how well ones long and short term memories are doing but has little to do with Intellect. Intellect is the ability to grasp and cognitively Understand information presented.
