I actually got real bugged out the other night. I hadn't smoked in about two weeks and I never smoke blunts anymore, probably a bowl (or two) or a joint and that's the most I'll smoke in a day normally. I'd been getting mids for about the past 4 months and finally was able to get a hold of some dank. I threw in for a blunt with a friend of mine and BAM, I was beyond stoned. I was so high it was exactly as you described it...
I am quite knowledgeable about the effects of cannabis however (being the stoner that I am =P) so I knew worse case scenario in about 4 hours I'd be back to normal. In about 15 - 30 minutes I realized I was just really freaking high and got over it, was a lot of fun once I just relaxed. When you get into those situations, you seemed to go about it the wrong way. If you focus on what's making you feel shitty and keep focusing on it, you're going to pull that feeling onto yourself tenfold. Just ignore it as hard as it is, chill out and eventually you'll get over it.
