Your right, but all that would happen at this point is she gives me cash out of pocket because that is the only option. I haven't really told her what I am going to do, I am letting her shit herself a little more first..

She is a full time college student who also works full time, just like me. I know how hard it is, and she is the exact same age as me.

Sure it was extremely stupid of her to not have insurance..

..and if she did have insurance there is a good chance I would have just been handed an 1800$ check and my titled have been salvaged. Which would have TOTALLY rocked.

BUT since she had no insurance I don't think I can make this girl give me money. I wouldn't fix my car with the money, I would buy a fatty sack of weed or something..I just wouldn't feel right about it.


So I am just going to take this as a learning lesson for both of us. Now she has car insurance(since she got it the day after)...and I will always get the goddamned police involved no matter how small the damage....

If you didn't report it to the insurance company the same day, you could get around that. You'd both have to your statements tight, and do a little white lieing saying the accident happened the day she got insurance. However it sounds like you are screwed. Sorry :)

It is Definitely not worth a few bucks to possibly be bought up on fraud charges... She doesn't even have a stable partner in crime...Very Bad Idea...

I know you said it sounds like your screwed,,,she is in this case but,,,she really is not though because her compassion will come back triple fold...
