I've really enjoyed your log. Thanks for sharing! Bree
Good job BHB.
I moved from closet to cab and I prefer the cab, if only it were a little larger. To each his own I guess.

Appreciate the kind words and thanks everyone!!!

Pic 3, cannibutter
First attempt at making butter. 1 oz manicured leaf heavy w/ trichomes and 1 oz bud for 1 lb butter.
This is a link on youtube for makin butter. Theres a 10 series cooking w/ marijuana w/ Hans + Hans thats quite provocative. You might have to register to confirm age since its adult (drug) content.

Is that the video where they spend 1-2 minutes on cannabutter and then the rest is just like a cooking show? Every single item I read on making cannabutter has a different time to simmer it for. How long did you simmer yours?
I did the butter for 45 mins. Everywhere I read/hear is a different time as well, but in the video they said a half hour, so i did 45 mins. w/e. Its not too bad. Though it tastes heavilly of ganja. :D
Well, I currently have 10 Oaxacan sativa seeds, and 5 Big Bud seeds.
I just now placed an order for nirvana blue mistic, and papaya.
I would like to get a grow going, maybe the mexican sativa... But i think im going to wait until I get my new seeds. I'm really anxious to give papaya a grow... and blue mistics buds look quite exotic and yummy.
inspiration for all closet growers. Really nice thread and props. Cant wait for your next grow. Any changes in stoor for the next grow setup or what, fill us in. respec
Ok boys and girls, time to start up the next grow! Seeds just came in today, and I shall waste no time. After parting with two 1/2 oz's too a cousin and a very close friend, pic 1 is my remaining stash.
In pic 2, I took a sterilite container and a hot knife and cut notches out of the side. Then I slide a wood dowl firmly in place and poked holes on each side of the plastic on both the top and the bottom of the container. Then I took string and tied the wood dowels in place tightly.
Next, tie the wood dowls at the top as seen in pic 3 leaving a couple inches os string between the two dowels.
Attach your light, add your cups, and secure them in the container w/ crumbled up paper towels (pic 4).
Go grab your seeds......
Next cut out drainage slit in your cups as seen in pic 1.
In picture 2, we have added soil, moisten the soil, and added seeds. Now you see a long strip of aluminum foil. This serves keep the warmth held in as well as the light. Seeds like warmth to germinate, and a plant requires a minumum of 1k lumen for life. This keeps that single 46w CFL's 3k lumen plus its warmth close.
Carefully wrap the aluminum around the wood dowel, then wrap the remainder of the aluminum around the container (pic 3).
In picture 4, we've formed the aluminum around the container, leaving an ample 6-8" hole in the top so the newly made nursery can breathe and is doesnt overheat.
What? What nursery? Simplicity, efficiency. Cheap, easy.
