How to almost always be able to tell if someone smokes

I refer to it as weed, pot, reefer, green, leaf, herb, and a number of other different things.

I really really really hate the word 'pot' being referred to as marijuana.

i also hate it when ppl call it dope at the police station thats the only word they use is dope. i used to call it pot when i was younger nd maybe a few times in my noob days it doesnt really bother me unless my mom says it. i'll used a wide assortment of words when referring to weed. mainly i use the word weed, ganja and bud and sometimes reefer i like having a lot of weed cause i can call it big sack o' reefer

I still on occasion call it pot, and I've always gotten negative looks from my friends, now I guess I know why.

One thing that I've always noticed about people who smoke weed and something that can be a dead giveaway is to simply look at the type of friends that someone keeps around. I've noticed that groups of friends that smoke together tend to be made up of a random mix of different styles, age groups, and backgrounds, as opposed to having everyone conform to to a certain cliquey (is that a word?) identity.

I've noticed that since smoking weed and meeting new people and making new friends with other stoners, my circle of friends has become rather random and kind of odd, because smoking seems to be a rather common social ground for everyone.

Holy crap I have the same thing going on...

One of my circles is all my close friends who started me on it, they're more your white inner-city type people who end up getting girls pregnant at 16.

Then I hang around a few girls, who get fucked up every night and one of which only hangs out with gangster guys other than me... very strange.

Then these other younger girls who are into the anime/DDR japanophile thing

And another really close friend of mine, she's a band nerd/honors student.

Weed really does bring people together :jointsmile:

I know a girl that smokes mad weed but she still calls it pot sometimes...

On the other hand, an old ex of mine (who used to always bust my chops about smoking) used to call it pot...
