I know this may surprise some of you, but GASP, sometimes innocent people do time, too. That's why we don't burn people alive. Also because it's inhumane. If we're trying to teach that that behavior is wrong, the government shouldn't be allowed to do it either.

In fact, that's my problem with the death penalty. Either it's allowed or it's not. If it's not, nobody should be able to do it, not even uncle sam.

Not a christian. I could kill her and have not microwaved a baby. You're just lumping all levels of evil as one. Thats just not true. There's various levels or evil out there. Matching a greater one with a lesser one isn't equal. I'll admit I've done some fairly evil things in my life but never microwaved a baby.

you stick her in a crockpot and simmer her for a while or w/e
i see no difference in the level of evil
you seem to attach more importance to something that hasnt even been in the world for nearly as long as this lady and is in actuality less important.

ive done plenty of evil things in my life, but ive never microwaved a baby, although i probably would if i ever had a kid.

The whole point in Punishment, such as Beheadings in the Middle East, Death Row etc. isnt to justify the crime! Its to show the other fuckers who are tempted to perform a crazy act like that what will happen to them, thus keeping criminals thinking before they act. If, for arguments sake, they brought in a Law where you suffer the same faith as your victim and you microwave a kid and so must be microwaved, then its your own fault! You know if you do a certain crime what will happen so why do it?..unless your strung out or some shit and unable to control your actions

You are suggesting that punishing the evil is evil. By your logic, punishment should not exist. Killing someone for doing something evil and Killing someone for no goddamn reason are very different things, arent they? Do you not see a distinction? or is it all just "Killing" to you?

punishing the evil in a cruel and unusual manner is evil, the bitch should die, but not in the manner that she took her kids life, lethal injection is a humane method of killing.
