I'm speaking from personal experience but, yes, it is the only way to keep their flock. The catholic church's one true boast is "We never change".

Quakers in colonial New England were discriminated against, and persecuted by, the Puritans and other larger denominations. Quakers were among the first to oppose slavery.

At this time, Islam is a greater threat to the future of the human race and this planet than any other major religion or political movement, past or present.

I went to Catholic school too. Although it was high school and I came in with a fresh mind unaltered by any previous brainwashing. I only went because the school was supposed to be considerably better than the public school alternative. Biggest bunch of bs I ever heard. It simply amazed me that so many would get in line to say "baaaa". No wonder they kicked me out after a couple years.

So the moderates are leaving in fear of death (beheading) and from "other countries" are speaking out against the radicals in charge.

"Change begins at home" or in this case the middle east. Now if the moderates can't make change and are fleeing to different lands it gives me the opinion that they just might be the minority.

Sounds like your in agreement with Bush that we can either fight them there.......or here. THEY strap on the suicide vests, THEY drive off in cars loaded with explosives, THEY highjack airliners.......

I don't understand the logic that acknowledges a threat but still wants to pull troops, funding from the region that this stems from. Do you want the fight to be in your own backyard instead?

I think we're doing right in both countries........by the time it's done there will either be more or we will just be letting them get prepaired for the future. For some reason....cough, cough.......Iran comes to mind.

If anyone thinks that Iran wants nuclear technology for peaceful purposes; well, I got 20 acres of prime real estate for sale in Candy Land right by the chocolate factory.:D

Acts of terrorism are an perverse invasion but acts of terrorism can be controlled.
The war on terror, turned to the war in iraq. Londoner's came out with a "we are not afraid" logo yet.. it's pretty apparent that many of them are.

I'm not so sure that there would be any fight in anyone's backyard.. if we simply knew what was going on in it..

But that's just me.

I can see the bullshit in the church.

But I can see the beauty in the religon.....

If islam would just tweek there message it would be fine in about.....3 generations.....
