My two are for the things I love.
A shell with cupids arrow through it for a very special Shelly in my life.
A weed leaf on my lung coz I love smoking the herb.
I have one down my right tricep that says "to roll" in Filipino.
i have 13 tats.....oh well..this is a crappy pic of one on my neck..looks off cause, once again, it is a crappy pic.... :D
and sensi......i thought it was a religious hindu symbol..swastika is a sanskrit word meaning being fortunate, as well as a few other interpretations...but you are saying it is your family crest..the symbol has been around for centuries and is actually the oldest known symbol tracing back to 1000bce, even predating the aunk (if i spelled that right) so anything is possible, and you would know better than us if it is your crest, but this being said, i am sure you can see where someone may find it hard to believe hitler took your personal family crest..it would lead someone to believe that it is more likely your family adopted it, same as hitler, same as native americans, so on and so forth .. i am not relying on the internet, but my education, for my answer, and i hope you see i was just trying to show you the other side..i am not challenging you..anyway, just my two cents..

I have done the whole piercing route and still have the side of my lip done. Until a few months ago, I had always wanted a tattoo but couldn't rationalize putting something on me for life withouth major signifance. So I thought for awhile and came up with an idea and got "to roll" in Filipino script.
"To roll" has double meanings. One for rollerblading which I have been doing for around 10 years now and submission fighting, both of which are referred to as "rolling."
I am fortunate enough to be the top student/practioner at my current reality based selfdefense school and we take a great deal of influence from the Filipino martial arts, hence the Pino script.
made a homemade tattoo gun for my brother to tat people with, when we first started actually working with it, we weren't using india ink (shit you actually get tattoo'd with) tried a bunch of things that i heard they do in prison... (i'm sure they weren't the healthiest, some o fthem included toothpaste, burnt plastic, pencil leads, pen inks, none stayed in) now i have a skull scar on my back (and my god did this shit hurt, i mean i have a high ass tolerance to pain, but this shit was rediculous... this was one of his very first attempts so of course i was the trial and error part lol... anyways, half of it bled for the rest of the day, he was going in WAY too deep) haven't got it filled in or anything professionally because my dead brother did it and i don't trust some tattoo artist to do it right.... anyways, after me, and some research went to hobby lobby and got india ink, never had a problem again... still have the gun and some ink laying around...
lmao one dude that was barred out as hell, and drunk had him tattoo "your name" on his ass... lmfao the next day he came back over to smoke... and my brother was like "so how do you like your tattoo" and the guy was like "what tattoo" and my brother told him the story, he went into the bathroom and looked in the mirror, i believe he started rolling around laughing.
oh yeah, for awhile that's how we got bud (we had ways, of course go out and mow lawns and what not, but why not be lazy if we can? lol) he'd hand out tattoo's for like 10-20 dollars worth the weed... and we'd even let them smoke it all with us, so basicly they were just smoking us out for it...
