Same! I was misdiagnosed for a year or two, and just got an Aspie diagnosis this fall. It was kind of a relief 'cause the other diagnosis was pretty serious.
I like talking with people when stoned, otherwise if they've got a certain type of personality and I don't know them, small talk can be painful.

im anti social because most people dont have the same interest as i do. plus when im high i would rather chill than be out getting in trouble. But i usually get high with friends then chill and play basketball or something

Yes, but those things aren't objective to all cannabis users. Its not necessary that a stoner 'will' get my drug induced thoughts and a sober guy wont.. But the guy that smokes cannabis will probaly have a better idea of the information.. What you're talking about is a person that uses drugs intelligently.. I mean, junkies...People that don't understand 'how' to use a drug, but still do it.. I know alot of cannabis 'junkies' who have wasted a good part of their lives because of marijuana, not that marijuana had anything to do with it..But you have to understand how a substance effects you and that the way you choose to deal with it is solid.

maybe its the passive/calmness marijuana promotes that probably seem anti-social. Then again, if you smoke weed and you leave a gathering because it sucks.. chances are people are going to blame the Pot and not you.. maybe because you realize that explaining 'why' you left isn't worth the fucking effort.. who knows..

i would have to agree with unitedwefall theroy, the more one smokes the more you realize how twisted socity is.one tends to think how much better they are by themselves.

I have social anxiety, and im really quiet in public and around large groups of people. When im high though, that all goes away and i loosen up. On the other hand, i smoke alone most of the time....quite the quandry.

during the senior year of high school, i managed to get a college girlfriend. after i graduated, the whole summer was my gf and i going to random people's apartments, houses, cars, parties, dinners, and other social gatherings. so i disagree with the theory that weed and anti-social behavior is linked.
however, i do think that the reason you bring it up is because a lot of pot smokers like to get high alone on occasion, including me. it's so relaxing and stress relieving. sometimes, coming home from a hard day of college lectures and textbook reading, a nice joint with some excellent music helps me get through the day  (and don't forget the munchies).

So.. in all, being anti-social and social really doesn't have much to do with Marijuana alone, but marijuana in concert with the ego... yes?
