Why do you smoke Cannabis?

bump, because I like to read why people smoke

i love the fact that I don't need to do drugs anymore to feel content/happy/have fun/whatever

one of my plants was almost a good three weeks ahead of the rest of them, and she just dried out enough to be ready for consumption, but i have no desire to smoke any of it, smells like some plague, too

sold my first 3.5 gram bag of this harvest for $50 to someone i know, and i couldn't help but think to myself "sucker"

on a side note i was talking to a good buddy of mine about drugs, and he was asking why i quit, and i said i'm not even sure why i did them in the first place, and he said, "drugs aren't bad, it's the people using them like they do that give them a bad rap"

we laughed our asses off

not trying to dog on anyone specifically, just something to think about

I don't need drugs to feel content/happy/have fun/whatever, either. It just helps out, like any other pleasurable activity does. We need pleasurable activities, or we go batshit insane. Everybody's got their hobbies and their interests that help them enjoy life, and one of mine is smoking pot. Smoking pot makes me happy and relaxed, and to me that is what life should be all about: chilling out and enjoying ourselves. I realize that I only have a few decades to experience the cosmos, and I have to make the best of them, so that's why I'm taking this giant bong hit.

its nice to have a smoke and take a trip into my mind and just think about everything and anything. it makes me appreciate things more. sometimes it makes things more realistic to me. i think it expands my mind on some level. all in all, i just do it because its something i like to do.

i smoke cuz it gets me high

some people enjoy a nice escape from reality after a stressful day

i'm one of those people

i smoke because its completely safe, and gives me a better feeling than alcohol and quicker too

When I'm sober I desire the effects and feelings which come from getting high. I definately don't need weed to be happy, It just enhances the happyness.

To look cool, why else?

Tell me about, i mean... once a day? That doesnt even qualify you as a smoker in my books...

Typical working week is fairly intense ...
My weekends are for music, weed and friends...

I smoke because it relaxes me
I smoke when I meditate
I smoke because its part of my social circle
I smoke because I enjoy being stoned
I smoke because it means not taking horrible artificial painkillers
I smoke and I don't drink alcohol...
