Yes, yes! We have thoroughly established that this is not a male. The purple leaves also don't seem to be a problem as the plant is otherwise doing fine.
It's been a while since I asked how much longer it was till harvest. I now believe that I'm getting close to the point but still not sure how close. The buds are very thick now, covering the whole plant. The pistils are white and cloudy and some of them are starting to turn slightly yellow.
I do not have a microscope or magnifying glass and do not plan to invest in one as I am in Switzerland and everything is ridiculously expensive here (isn't it Houdini?).
Anyways, here are some updated pictures. Let me know if I should decapitate this plant next week or leave it for another week or two.
you could harvest it at anytime would probably suggest you pick a couple of buds off now and let the rest go another couple of weeks.
there is no specific time to harvest even when using a magnifing glass it is more personal preference there is plenty of people that harvest early becuase they prefer the high of clear trichomes versus waiting until they turn mostly cloudy or even amber by taking a couple of buds now and waiting a couple of weeks before you harvest the rest you will be able to decide for yourself for future grows which you may prefer.
Salut Stefan. Your plants look good. Without a loupe or similar then its difficult to be precise. Wait until those yellow hairs tun brown, or 2 more weeks, whichever comes first.
looks like you should harvest about a quarter pound from that plant... I'd say itll be done by the end of the month so watch it close.... tell me how it smokes and check my shit out...
yea my plant also has yellowing leaves, and theyre gradually working their way upward. i think its just from the flowering process. also, my buds (but not leaves) are turning a bit purple from all the cold weather. i hope my bud turns out as big as yours!
Looking tasty! :D
